Pyramid Beach Resort on the fine sandy Alona Beach offers a big variety of international dishes in the Pyramid shaped Restaurant direct on the Beach. The native inspired Pyramid Bar spoils our guests with delicious cocktails or with an ice cold draft beer in the rhythm of the latest music tracks. The Resort went through a total renovation and is open for our guests since October 2016. Our 8 Superior Rooms are consisted of two floors with balcony or terrace, two of them with magnificent sea view! The 4 Deluxe rooms are just next to our super sized Pool and are equipped like all our rooms with modern amenities and fast complimentary WI-Fi connection.
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travelers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
We spent 3 wonderful nights at Pyramid Cottages in Dec 08 with our 4yo son. The location is right on the beach and perfect for swimming in warm, clean, blue water. We loved having breakfast, lunch and dinner right on the water, with the relaxing sound of the sea splashing the shore. That’s right - we actually had all of our meals at Pyramid and didn’t have to shop around, which is a first! The food was excellent, especially the fresh seafood and the staff were warm and friendly. During mealtimes they have music playing in the background

You can negotiate a discount on the rack rate with free breakfast. Recommend you stay in the top floor rooms as they have a fantastic view and cool breeze. What we didn’t like was the pool, which was too deep for young children.

Die kleine Anlage ist sehr schön angelegt und wird von den Angestellten täglich gepflegt und sauber gehalten. Unser zweistöckige Bungalow, im typisch philippinischen Stil erbaut, war sehr sauber, das Schlafzimmer im Obergeschoß war wunderbar groß und hatte einen Balkon, auf dem man schön sitzen konnte. Auch das Badezimmer war groß und sauber. Der Pool ist ausreichend groß und tief. Das Personal ist sehr nett, freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Le point fort de l'hôtel : sa situation. Il est au coeur d'Alona Beach, en face de la plage et à deux pas des bars et restos. Du coup, oui, il est un peu bruyant,mais franchement ça reste tres supportable. En revanche, je ne suis pas fan du bungalow, qui est sombre et qui dégage une odeur plutôt désagréable ( renfermé ou humidité). De plus, il semble y avoir des termites dans les poutres ( nous étions intrigué par les "poussières" dans le lit et sur le sol du salon et nous avons fini par comprendre d'où elles venaient...). Nous n'avons pas pris le petit déjeuner ici : Nous avons trouvé son prix franchement excessif. Bref, nous ne reviendrons pas dans cet hôtel

Muy buen hotel situado en plena playa de alona. Hotel muy limpio y con una piscina muy grande para las pocas habitaciones que hay. Nuestra habitación tenia dos platas, arriba el dormitorio con una terraza y abajo el baño y un pequeño salón. El personal muy agradable y con cualquier cosa que preguntes te ayudan. Tienen un restaurante que se come o cena genial. Por las noches have bbq a buen precio. Hotel muy recomendable.

We were surprised when we first arrived at Pyramid Resort, that the location along Alona Beach was far more commercialised and busy than we were expecting. From the photos on booking.com, it looks as though the resort has a private beach immediately in front with quite a number of sun beds laid out. Well, there is a beach in front, but it is separated from the resort by a sand covered walkway the whole length of Alona Beach, with a constant flow of people day and night. There are NO beds on the beach at all. Neither are there any around the pool area, also unlike the photos on Booking.com. It’s a shame because it is a lovely pool, in the middle of the huts, but there is nowhere to lay and chill. All there is, is a table and bench under a shaded pergola. We booked one of the superior rooms which were on two levels. Unfortunately, ours was the closest to the reception and next to the resort storage area, so staff were coming in and out from very early in the morning - try to make sure if you have a superior room that you get one at the back which would be quieter, with more seclusion and overlooking the pool. Although initially the two floors seemed a good idea, the only aircon was upstairs which kept the bedroom beautifully cool, but the down stairs could get a little warm. You also seemed to be running up and down quite a lot, and the stairs were quite steep. Also the floor and bed creaked, so that if my husband got up to go to the toilet at night, which was downstairs, it would wake me up. It was nice, however to have a seating area outside both upstairs and downstairs for different times of the day.
So far this review sounds very negative, but there were also plenty of positives.
The bathroom was very modern and had lots of space, shelves and cupboards for toiletries. The water pressure was very good and there was plenty of hot water. I had a sneaky look at the standard one storey rooms, and in all honesty they were very nice and would have been more than adequate - they are also situated at the back of the resort away from the beach bars and would be maybe a little quieter late at night. There was a very good supply of plugs for charging stuff, which hadn’t always been the case in our travels around the Philippines, plus there was a shelf area outside the bathroom which was great for charging and storing our underwater cameras and housings. We had a kettle, with tea & coffee refilled daily, 2 small bottles of water free each day ( i know a water station would be better that you could refill, but we only found one place that offered this) plus a nice sized fridge. The resort itself is nice and clean with a cosy feeling, and the staff were very friendly, particularly the receptionist, who helped us with purchasing our onward ferry tickets.

Лежаки для посторонних за деньги, для постояльцев всегда стоят лежаки с табличкой о резервировании для гостей отеля. Территория отеля довольно зелёная. В бассейне вода холодноватая. Номер отличный. На первом этаже санузел и что-то вроде гостинной зоны. На втором огромная спальня и шикарный балкон с видом на море, стол, кресла и лежаки на балконе присутствуют. Персонал очень приветлив, просьбы выполняет незамедлительно. Случайно разбили бокал коктейльный у бассейна (ребёнок сбил со стола). Денег не взяли. Ресторан конечно дороговат по сравнению с остальными заведениями, но готовят отлично. Порции огромные. Всё понравилось.

Super nettes Personal, ausgenommen das Personal im Restaurant. Essen extrem schlecht, ein Schnitzel ist paniert, hier nicht. Beef Steak Tagalog, Volksverdummung. Falsches Essen serviert, trotzdem muss man bezahlen. Unverschämtheit! Gerne würde ich Ihrem Koch das Kochen beibringen!

Abbiamo trascorso molti giorni in questo resort e posso garantire che in termini di qualità e posizione è il migliore di Alona Beach . La struttura è situata sulla spiaggia a circa 10 metri dal mare e intorno ci sono molti bar e ristoranti per tutti i gusti . Abbiamo cenato quasi sempre nel ristorante del resort e la sua cucina è ottima , piatti ben realizzati , porzioni abbondanti e prezzi giusti . Tutto lo staff gentile e sempre con il sorriso pronto a soddisfare ogni tua richiesta . Ora il Manager Paul , un vero Manager sempre attento che tutto funzionasse bene e in più un ottima persona dotato di una gentilezza e cordialità incredibili . All the kind staff and always with a smile ready to satisfy your every request. Ubicación en Alona Beach, en primera línea de mar. Personal muy amable. Habitaciones amplias y baño correcto. Piscina muy profunda, no adecuada para niños. Terraza en todas las habitaciones.
A considerar: Instalaciones tipo cabañas, un poco antiguas. Mobiliario y decoración funcional pero anticuado. Se nota que hace años que está construido. Para llegar desde donde te deja el taxi hay que caminar más de 100 metros por el paseo marítimo de arena, por el que no se puede arrastrar la maleta, por lo que has de cargar con ella. Hay muy poca zona de espacios comunes y no hay tumbonas para estar en la piscina.
