We stayed in the Superior Sea View room which was spacious and had a great view of the sea, but it was not worth the money. The reason is that as soon as you go outside you are overwhelmed by noise and cigarette smoke. There was constant cigarette smoke from the downstairs restaurant tables especially from the person who runs the dive shop. He sat and chainsmoked at a restaurant table under our balcony. The people in the room next to us also smoked. Every time we opened the balcony doors the room also stank of smoke. We expected the beach to be noisy, but the noise carried on until early in the morning. We are vegetarians and the menu is very limited when it comes to vegetarian options. Even if it had more options, we probably would not have eaten at the resort because things…
We stayed at the pyramid Beach resort for 6 nights and had a wonderful experience. The resort is very comfortable, the restaurant serves good food and the location is ideal. But most importantly, the staff did not hesitate to go above and beyond for us. We got sick and they were very helpful in helping us contact/find a doctor, accommodating our specific needs, and all of that with a smile! Thank you very much for your hard work! We definitely recommend this resort and would stay there again.
Very beautiful resort and place ,in front of the alona white beach Best staff in alona white beach Very good restaurant and a lot of choice in international food, very good bartenders also A nice place for families too
Customer Service is great. it's a nice small hotel in the stretch of Alona Beach. Our room has 2 floors, the bedroom is on the 2nd floor. It looks really good. The only problem for us is the bed. The mattress is so thin that makes the bed really hard. I mean reaaaaally hard. Lol
We were surprised when we first arrived at Pyramid Resort, that the location along Alona Beach was far more commercialised and busy than we were expecting. From the photos on booking.com, it looks as though the resort has a private beach immediately in front with quite a number of sun beds laid out. Well, there is a beach in front, but it is separated from the resort by a sand covered walkway the whole length of Alona Beach, with a constant flow of people day and night. There are NO beds on the beach at all. Neither are there any around the pool area, also unlike the photos on Booking.com. It’s a shame because it is a lovely pool, in the middle of the huts, but there is nowhere to lay and chill. All there is, is a table and bench under a shaded pergola. We booked one of the…
Very good reasort! The room is perfect, the food is delicious, the swimming pool is beautiful and the stuff are very kind! The reasort is located on the beach and close to everything. We are recommending this place...
We had room #1 which is on 2 levels with a balcony overlooking the beach. This was the best feature - sitting out on the balcony watching the world go by on the beach and walkway right in front. The room was simple and very comfortable. There is a nice pool in an attractive courtyard. Service from the staff was excellent and very friendly - it's the Philippines after all ! They can do tour bookings, airport transfers etc. The restaurant has a really good and popular dinner buffet. Some dishes a la carte though were not up to standard.
We were 2 couples staying at the Pyramid for 2 nights and we tried to book an extra night as we loved it so much but it was fully booked! The staff couldn't be more helpful and arranged another hotel for us to stay in as well as booking our ferry tickets for us. The rooms were spacious and clean, pool and beach area absolutely fantastic. We ate at the restaurant a few times and every time we were pleased. Great menu and great food. We will be back!
The Pyramid Resort was exceptional. The staff were friendly and accommodating and went above and beyond to assist and give advice when needed. The rooms were spacious and clean and the fridge, aircon, kettle, provided water and beach towels were extra bonuses. The pool was off the beach, but beautiful and quiet. The resort itself also felt relaxed and safe. If I were to visit Bohol again I would definitely stay at the Pyramid Resort again.
Stayed here for 4 nights. The hotel resort is right in the middle of Alona beach. If you want to stay where all the action is and don’t mind the crowd then this is a good place to stay. The price is reasonable and the place is kept clean. The accommodations are spacious-2 storey with outdoor and indoor seating and the bedroom upstairs. Lots of restos nearby and has beach access. They arrange tours too. If you want private beach access then I suggest looking for another area or going when it is low season. Staff and service are okay too but I suggest checking your bill thoroughly before checking out.
