First of all the ownership has been changed to the Philippino management and during our staying they were in transition period. Resort is just next to the road behind the large fence with security. It’s located close to White Sand and Dumluan beaches (30 min. walking or 7 min by scooter). The bungalows are clean, comfortable and cosy (only missing the mosquito net). We found breakfast prices too high. Food and beverages provided by the restaurant are limited quality and too expensive, perhaps this will change when transition is completed. By the way, there are no cats on the resort!! :-) Swimming pool is huge and deep (1,60 m), so strong attention is needed when with small kids. Towels for swimming pool are provided, however sunbeds were not available. Internet connection is very poor for now. Unfortunately, no one from the resort picked us up from the port as agreed beforehand, even after calling the resort (eventually we took a taxi ourselves). All the inconveniences we mentioned above might be resolved in future when the new owner has a full control.

Stayed over for 6 nights, had a fantastic stay at this resort.
Area well maintained all staff and management were multi-tasking, nothing was too much to help and make our stay as convenient as possible.
Facilities like pool, gym and lounge were readily available for guests to enjoy.
Because of the scale it made us feel like a private resort, especially since our neighbouring room was unoccupied during our stay, can imagine that a neighbour might give a less private feel.
Although Location was away from the beaches, transfers were available from morning till late evening on request. Please try to book directly with resort to have true value for money.
Overall a fabulous experience indeed ! guests from holland

We stayed only 2 nights at Dream Native but would have liked to have stayed longer. We were picked up from Tagbilaran Airport and made to feel incredibly welcome from the very first moment. They served us fresh pineapple shakes as free welcome drinks which were absolutely delicious. As the low season was just beginning we were the only guests so had the whole place to ourselves and therefore all the staff waiting on us hand and foot.

The food was delicious and reasonably priced although the fruit shakes were more expensive than you'd see in the UK!

It's a very relaxing environment and the pool and jacuzzi are bliss. They are very passionate about animal welfare and they have dozens of rescue cats in an enclosure. The cats are looking very healthy and happy and you'll always find at least one member of staff tending to them.

Wifi was free and decent. The room had a fridge, kettle and coffee and a couple of bottles of complimentary water provided each day. There's also a safe in the room.

Nearest beaches are the free 'White Beach', Dumaluan Beach (25p) and the all-inclusive Bohol Beach Resort (1000p). They offer a free shuttle to and from each of the beaches.

The resort is quite clean and it would be ideal if not for the fact that it is right beside the road, so if you don't mind the sound of cars and bikes speeding by and honking horns then you're all set.

The owner is Italian and the on-site resto claims to be have Italian cuisine, so if you call spaghetti slapped together with sweet spaghetti sauce basically out of a tin, then you'll be quite pleased. On a side note, we were graced with the view of the owner walking around EVERY MORNING in his boxer briefs. No, not the lose, baggy boxer briefs that might be okay but were talking teeny weeny boxer briefs. Yes, he will greet you at breakfast in his boxer briefs and he will mow the lawn in his boxer briefs.

If you can block out the road noise and the boxer briefs and the mockery of Italian food...then you'll love the place. It's clean, it has a pool and hot showers. And boxer briefs.

this is a very nice resort with very clean bungalows, a terrific pool, excellent food and a very friendly staff. We booked there for 3 nights but we extend our stay twice up to 9 days. The atmosphere in this resort is very relaxing and far enough away from the party scene of Alona. The rooms are nice equipped and big enough, the internet connection is fast and stable and the staff is always willing to make ur stay very comfortable. The italian food, they served in their restaurant, is always fresh made and excellent and served in a romantic ambiance with linen napkins, linen tablecloth and nice tableware . The owner couple is very friendly and helpful and they do all to make ur stay comfortable and relaxing. u will never hear any loud word and we like the way he spoke with his employees. They offer a free shuttle to beach, port, airport and bike rentals and the y get never tired to answer all ur questions and give tipps. Its not on the beach side but therefor its quiet and relaxing. But the beaches are close. we came as strangers and we left as friends. This is the earning of the whole crew and owners. We will definitely come back - Thanks a lot for the unforgettable time in this beautiful resort

A really nice small hotel with exellent staff!
It's calm, clean and the pool is fantastic!
The staff is very helpful and nice and they did us feel welcome! Very nice food with large portions and not very pricy!
The only thing we did miss were a small drinklist and maybe a possibility to buy some snacks! They even take you to the best beaches for free! You will not be dissapointed if you book this lovely hotel! ❤️

I booked four nights at this resort thru asiarooms.com based on reviews, hotel star rating, and photos. I was very disappointed when I arrived at the resort. This resort is located inland, directly fronting a highway and nowhere near a beach or water. The resort property is probably less than an acre in size. The web site's photos were very deceiving, making you think this is a relaxing place. Outside the resort is a noisy highway and shanty houses less than 7 ft. away from your room. I immediately cancelled my reservation and looked at hotels along Alona Beach. I had to pay 15% of total cost as cancellation fee.

Yes you are right, and you already know that we are not on the beach because you have call in resort and all staff have tell to you that we are not front beach, also in our review nobody talk that we are on the beach, may we know the why you have come? The rooms already booked of course must be canceled at the right time, otherwise you pay a penalty The owner.

Very nice place.
No insulation between rooms. You will hear all that your neighbour will tell about you!!!
You will be hungry after having your breakfast (no juice, one egg...)
The telephone in the room was not working
The food is no taste.
I would not choose to go there again.

Great hotel with excellent service, all staff is very nice. No complains about the resort and the service staff, the only problem is the location is quite out of the way. You need to take the local "taxis" or walk a considerable distance to get to the Alona beach. Fortunately, the resort provided free shuttle bus for all of its guests from the resort to the Alona Beach, and to other places based on the guests' requests. So, we never need to call taxi for going to the Alona Beach. Thanks to the manager there, since we wanted a shuttle bus at 5:30 am in one day during our stay and there was no other means of transportation we could take, the manager woke up at 5:00 am and drove us personally to our destination. She is very nice and helful. Moreover, the room is really very tidy. However, the light is not bright enough. One thing that the hotel needs to improve is the quantity and the diversification of its breakfast.

You can contact him directly through their website… I know that the rates change quarterly because of the high and low season… I have only been there once so there’s no way that I can answer that question. They will book it for you through their website if you contact him directly.
