Last Mar. 2018, we decided to had my wedding reception at Overlook Resort. My husband, mother in-law and I talked to the owner of this resort and it's very clear to us that they will SERVE the foods for our principal sponsor since they will be catering the foods. Unfortunately, it not happen during my wedding day and I was very disappointed!. I even asked the staff why they're not serving the food for my principal sponsor and they just said that hindi daw talaga sila nagseserve, so ang ending pumila pa yung mga principal sponsors ko to get their food. After the reception namen, I talked to the owner why her staff did not serve the foods to our principal sponsor and she just said na hindi daw talaga kasama na magserve yung staff nila eh it's so very clear to us na dapat iseserve nila yung foods sa sponsor namen. The owner did not apologize man lang and she's just after the money. Magulo kausap yung owner actually. If you are planning to have your reception in Overlook, you'll just wasting your money. Even you get their service for catering, ikaw pa magdedesign ng venue since hindi daw sila nagdedesign and you won't even get assistance from the staff ng Overlook. The owner and staff of Overlook, you have a very poor customer service!!

- A faucet as a shower head. - An A/C weak enough to make the room cold enough. - Dirty facilities. - Not-so-friendly staff (people were still swimming and the caretaker just threw chlorine and didn't even ask to be excused for him to do his chores). Just no.

This resort looks really old or should I say not maintained well. The poeple are nice though and the view of the city is amazing. The rates is okay though the place is really not as fancy and big as you thought.

This resort lacks spaciousness for you to feel free. Pools are just okay and the place is not as clean as you could imagine. However, the view is so nice, you can see the metro skyline and the people are amazing. Some pools are not open the time that I went there.

We're supposed to stay there for 36 hours but when there, we didn't want to stay anymore at all. :( We had a reservation so we're expecting the room to be ready when we arrive. The room was actually ready. The catch? The bed is squeaking. Aside from that, the room was really small. There's just a space beside the bed for us to walk to the bathroom and that's it. We asked for another room. In the second room, there was no tv. The receptionist moved the tv from the first room to the second. So what was the problem? There's only one available socket and it's in the ceiling. An extension was provided but there's also just one socket. We asked for another room. The price given to us for the third room is Php 1500 for 12 hours and Php 2500 for 24 hours. When I saw it, I was actually glad. It's bigger. A lot bigger. There were two twin beds and a table between them. Our problem with it is the bathroom. It's a shared bathroom and we cannot lock the connecting door from inside our room. Also, there's no water. When they opened the valve, the water's black because of the soil with it. I didn't get to take a bath there. After resting, we immediately left to transfer to another resort.

After I sent an email requesting for a quotation for our teambuilding, Overlook sent me the proposal for a group package but after that, they didn't reply to most of my concerns/questions via email or text. (They don't have a landline.) We had an ocular last May and we were promised the biggest pool, outdoor areas, etc. for our whole stay at the resort. I kept on emailing or texting them questions about their facilities weeks before our event but they rarely reply. A week before our event, I called them and asked about our accommodations. To my surprise, the girl was clueless. I told her that we booked our event a month before and she told me that she would still have to find our proposal. After a few hours, I received an email from her. She sent me a new proposal and it was way, way more expensive than the one that we received before. How could they lose the proposal when they just sent it last month??? I looked for the previous proposal they sent me and I sent it to her via email. After we cleared things out about the proposal, I asked about some of the facilities via text, but they wouldn't reply again. I had to call them again and again to ask all these questions. On the day of our event, some of our members backed out. Luckily, Overlook was flexible enough to adjust the number of pax. Upon arriving at the resort, I talked to the front desk and reminded them of the facilities we would be using for our exclusive use. I was shocked when they told me that we wouldn't be able to use the biggest pool on our second day since another group was going to use it. They wanted to give us the medium sized pool instead. I told them that they promised the biggest pool to us when we had an ocular at the resort last May. They told me that since we moved our event from May to June, it was a different arrangement. Why would the arrangements be different when we only moved the date??? I kept on texting and emailing them questions and concerns but they rarely reply. They didn't even have the initiative to inform us about the changes in the pool. We resorted to just using the other pools. They told us that the function room could fit up to 60 people but it looked like only 40+ people could fit. The presence of a comfort room in the function room was very convenient for us. The aircon of the function room was not that cold but Overlook was kind enough to lend us some electric fans. The food was also average, the tapsilog type of food. The rooms were not that clean. The beds were okay. We saw some cockroaches around the room and in the comfort room. One of our toilets had no flush. Both of our sinks were clogged. The shower was not working so we had to take a bath using the pail and dipper. According to their rules, the use of the videoke is only allowed until 10 pm but they weren't strict with this rule. We could hear drunk, ugly, "sintonado" singing past 10 pm. If you want a cheap and accessible resort, you could choose Overlook but don't expect much.
