I have stayed at Callos Spa once. Will I go back - not really.

We stayed overnight in the so-called Honeymoon Suite. Tho the room was relatively spacious, the bed however was too small for a couple. The air-conditioning conked out in the middle of the night - it took forever for a maintenance person to fix it. The shower was clogged even after we've complained earlier and 2 people supposedly fixed it. By the time you were done with your shower, the water was to your ankles!

The overall service in the main areas was friendly and accommodating. Massage was fine, jacuzzi was excellent. The pool and surrounding area was not clean tho so you tend to just stay in your hotel room. Breakfast came late - we requested for it to be served at 7AM, it arrived 8:30. When you have nothing better to do, that was a long wait.

Honestly, I think Callos Spa has a lot of potential just that at off peak season it seems to be neglected. Management should seriously take note of this.

Callospa it a nice spot, rooms are well maintained and equipped, would say stylish and decently clean. Staff is helpful and quite nice also. We took also the spa, and the massage was quite professional. No food or drinks available in the house, but staff went out for us to buy drinks in the evening.asian breakfast is served and its decent.
Negative point:
We were ther on fri and sat night,on fri there was a party and while the videoke was turn of at 10 pm( reasonable) the people at the party has been allowed to use the pool and be very noisy till late night( about2 am!)
On saturday there were party going day time( which is acceptable) but then again at night..at 2.15 am i went down to complain and one party guest told me that they rent the pool and the place till 7am ...i went to complain to the manager on duty ( i was assured that the party was stopping at midnight) and he ignored me. Then i think some other guest(local) went to complain and the noise stop around 3am!
Checking out i have been given a discount for the unconvenient.
So, placea and rooms are nice, if you like to sleep at night check if they have party booked..if so..be prepared for a poor sleeping.

We had our annual summer and team building here last week and we had the place to ourselves.

Lots of places to hang around, plus since the activity was a cook-out it was perfect (they had a stove and grillig area)

Could use a little fix me upper like more thorough cleaning and trimming of plants to lessen the mosquitos... Pool was clean and well maintained.

We did have to wait for the van for 2 hours so that wasn't so good...

Location was good - just near our Eastwood office and no traffic.

I had my wedding at Callospa a few months ago. We rented the pool and garden part of the resort from 5pm-7am, they told us that that venue can accommodate up to 150pax but I told them that we're only expecting 70 guests and that it's going to be a simple wedding. We also rented the Tatami Room for 20pax and 2 couple suites + breakfast for 2 per suite (check in time 1pm, check out at 10am). We were also asked to pay 10% corkage fee for the catering but I told them that my Aunt owns the catering so we only paid 10k so the corkage fee will only be 1k and we agreed to that. We were also asked to pay additional 2k for the electricity charge since my band will be playing on my wedding. So we agreed and closed at a certain amount and so I paid the reservation fee. (This was between me and the receptionist)

On the day of my wedding, the owner was there. All she did during our whole stay there was meddled with everything the receptionist and I agreed on. When the tables & chairs arrived she talked to the one in charge of setting up, when she found out that they brought tables and chairs for 100pax she freaked out and asked me to pay additional 2k because that's not a simple wedding! I wasn't there yet so the receptionist called me up. My family and I arrived at around 2pm. I went to their office and I explained to Cecille (the receptionist) that the minimum number of pax we were allowed to rent for the chairs and tables was for 100pax. I just told the t&c staff not to set up all the tables, I asked them to set up tables for only 80pax, just so the owner will shut up.

After that tables discussion, they asked me to pay 3k fixed price for the catering corkage fee, I told Cecille that we agreed on 10% of the catering fee, she told me that the owner wanted that fixed rate, so I insisted that we are going to pay what we agreed, she called the owner on the phone, then she said that the owner said that we should pay atleast 1,500, she said we can pay that 1,500 before we check out, I was already pissed so I said okay.

When the sound system arrived, they looked for me again and asked me to pay 3,900 instead of 2k for the electricity charge! I told them that the band will only play 1 set of 1 hour, which only costs P150 in rehearsal studios! I told them that 2k is already expensive for the electricity charge. After that discussion, they told me that we should check out at 7am, I asked her why because we rented the tatami room at 5k + 2 suites at 3k each and the check out time is 10am. She said things that doesn't make sense and finally said okay you can check out at 10am (as if she did us a favor).

After stressing me out with those hidden charges or should I say MADE UP CHARGES, they asked me to pay the bill, then I will pay again before we check out the next day just in case we exceed the 50pax limit for the venue rental. So I paid the venue rental fee etc. (Can you imagine how stressed I was a few hours before getting married?) All I can say is that treated us as if we were taking advantage of them and as if we did not pay the right amount. I was so pissed!

Cecille left after office hours but she asked the guard to take charge of the head count etc. After the wedding, my husband and I went to ask the guard if he was able to monitor the number of the guests. He said, "Hindi ko na nabilang, kayo na magbilang!" (I have not counted, you count!). He was so rude! I got really mad I did not say a word and I went inside the venue. Then we had to use the gas stove, we couldn't open it and it was making a sound so we asked the guard to open it, he said, "Ganunin nyo lang hindi yan sira!", I told him to do it and I asked my sister to talk to the guard before I snap.

The next day around 8am I was waiting for the breakfast to arrive, I asked my husband to go to the reception and ask for our breakfast. I even called my sister who is in the other suite that we already asked for our breakfast. My husband went back from the office, pissed, because they called the owner and the owner said that they are not serving us breakfast! I texted Cecille since she was not there yet (she arrives at 9am) and told her about what the owner said to the my husband. Then the caretaker went to our room, and said, "Paki hintay na lang daw po, hindi po alam ni Mrs. Garcia na may breakfast kayo e". I didn't say a word. My husband said, "aabot pa ba? 10am ang check out namin", they said yes.

We prepared our stuff while waiting for the breakfast and then we (me & my cousins who were in charge of the guest list) went to see Cecille for the bill. Cecille said we should pay P3,000 fixed for the excess pax. My reaction was HUH??? Why??? Her exact words were, "Ganito na lang isara na lang natin sa 80pax." I said, "how can it be 80 pax, you were there when I asked the t&c staff to set up tables for only 80 pax, you were still here and your guard was here, he saw that there were a empty tables and empty seats!". Then she said "Sige ibase na lang natin sa nagamit na plato"., I said, " Huh?How can you do that?". Then my cousin told her, "You asked your guard to count right?, I asked all the guests per tables to go to the couple's table for photo op so he can count. Did he do it?" and that reminded me of what the guard did the night before and so I told Cecille about it. She couldn't think of anything more to say or to charge so I just paid the catering corkage fee of 1,500. Then I said, "we're just gonna get our things then we're leaving", She said, "Aren't you going to wait for your breakfast?", I said, "no". Then I went back to their office to give the keys. I told Cecille that I'm a blogger and so are my cousins who she had an argument with and we are going to write a "very good" review to Callospa (of course I was being sarcastic and I was bluffing). She said and her exact words are "Naku ma'am wag naman po, pasensya na po kayo..." that was the first and only time she apologized to me.

So there, I will never forget my terrible experience and i will NEVER EVER GO BACK to that place again.

These people should be out of business and NEVER allowed to do business again. All they are after is your money. They take no sense of pride in what they are doing or offering. I also stayed at one of their home rentals ... P25K for 10 days. The agreement was everything included .. maid service, utilities, etc. When the time came to check out, the owner wanted me to pay the maids, AND the taxes on the house. ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?!?! Again, I would not trust these people EVER again. Do business at your own risk

I wish i can give you a negative rating but no option for that. My wife chose your resort without telling me since it's supposed to be a surprise for our anniversary and also time for relaxation with our kids. And you didn't disappoint, I was surprised to how awful the place was. 1.) No security for parking area, leave car at your own risk. 2. ) when we arrived around 2pm they were still cleaning and the smell was really unpleasant, it might be coming from what looks like a fish pond. 3.)the room we stayed in was full of falling crap from the ceiling, looks like remnants of wood eaten by termites. i asked the staff i we could transfer room and they gave us family room which looked like a hospital room for dying patients. i told the staff we will not transfer anymore and just put tapes on the cracks on the ceiling to stop whatever is falling from it however that didn't help. 4.) it was supposed to be an overnight stay and the relaxed feeling that we were longing for turned to a nightmare. we only stayed for 2 hours and decided to leave since the pool wasn't fun either and dirty. 5.) tons of mosquitoes. like literally tons of em. Don't leave door open even for a minute or you will be sorry.

Will never recommend this place to anyone. waste of time, money and hazardous to health.

It was our Summer team-building
Our company sponsor managed the booking and reservation, and from then on, she felt uncomfortable on the receptionist whom she found rude!
Park at your own risk! No guard that time. Or if that was their guard seating on the entrance.. He doesn't care.
Family room was dirty, unprepared and not worthy of its cost. An extra "folding" bed provided was malfunctioning. It automatically folds when you lay down, so just imagine to be sandwiched? - haha.
Pool was not impressive and uninviting. You can't swim coz its reserved! - haha
Karaoke at the Orange room doesn't have a song book, so select until you die searching! - haha
No specific house rules, very flexible. You will be forced to check out anytime they want.. Or extend and pay extra for a couple of hours.
Mosquitos were part of the resort. I believed they were the staff during office hours and turned into mosquitos after duty. - haha.
Plants were so wild, untrimmed, like a jungle... Not appropriate for a Spa Resort.
Stay here....and be stressed!

We rented the place near the pool for an overnight and agreed to stay from 6pm to 10am (agreed with cecile), but in the morning while eating our breakfast a rude girl (admin) approach us and told us that we can only stay there up to 7am and we need to wrap up before 8:30 as another group will occupy that place.

Also the room we rented that is suppose to be good for 20 pax is only good for 17 pax. Lack of hygiene and staffs not so friendly.

Will never go back in this resort again.

The decision to stay within the Metro during Holy Week was a good one.Instead of queuing long lines joining the flood of people rushing for their hometown or vacation destination outside the Metro,my wife and I were taking our time, lazying by the pool and having a relaxing massage at CALLOSPA and RESORT Antipolo.

CalloSpa is located in Colaique, Antipolo City. It's only 30 minutes away from Ortigas. It is a family owned resort that has been around for more than 10 years.I thought it's a big place when I heard about it.Turns out to be small. But being small doesn't automatically mean bad.To us who were there during Holy Week,it meant we had the place almost all to ourselves. That's when you appreciate this small sanctuary in the hills of Antipolo. For me and my wife, small meant intimate.Really felt like being in a private haven with the simulated rainforest environment.

CalloSpa is also well known for weddings and events. The advantage of the place is that they have both indoor and outdoor options for the venue,by the poolside and the covered court which they can decorate and transform into a grand venue.Works for all kinds of weather. This also converts to a badminton place where you can play should you go here with your family of group.

we tried AFFORDABLE ESCAPE w/ Overnight stay
worth PhP4,000 during weekdays.This includes,

a.An overnight stay
b.Breakfast for 2
c.1 hour use of Sauna and Jacuzzi
d.1 hour CalloSpa Signature Massage
e.Use of swimming Pool

I was surprised at how spacious their rooms are for a resort this relatively small. The materials from the tiles,to the sink,to the lights to the toilet are first class.I'd like to mention about the smell of the room as it is very important for me.You know the smell inside saunas? That's how their room smells and that for me is a turn on.You feel clean each time you enter the room.Wall-type aircon, cable tv,fridge,a small table if you want to bring in food. The bed is made of prime wood so the uratex foam is forgivable. The important thing is that it's comfy.Still had a restful sleep.

The advantage about staying overnight is that you can carefully plan for the time you want to have your massage so as not to feel rushed. My wife and started at 6pm which is the last call.We spent an hour having sauna and jacuzzi. We of course love the sauna and are accustomed to it but the jacuzzi was our first time.It was a perfect setup for couples ---the warm bubble bath, the eucalyptus scent, the floating citrus cuts in an intimately lit room ---which will make you wanna stay longer. This you can do together at the same time and the place exclusively for the two of you so it is really a unique romantic experience.

By the time we finished at 8pm,it was already quiet in the resort.Perfect time to relax.Gigi, the lady who massaged me was really good. She was able to hit the right pressure spots so I was really satisfied.

The resort has no in-house restaurant so I suggest you bring food for dinner. If not, feel free to approach the front desk to assist you order food. There are many restaurants in Antipolo which offer food delivery.Don't worry about breakfast,a Full board Asian meal awaits.Vey good set.We had our breakfast in one of the outdoor tables and it was all good.My wife and I had a perfect conversation after the hearty meal.

It was another relaxing time for me and my wife and CalloSpa and Resort made the experience possible.Strong points about the place,it's small and intimate and the romantic sauna-jacuzzi-massage experience was unique.Something that we haven't tried before.Would love to go back here :)

Good points:
- The massage package is affordable and nice
- Breakfast is excellent
- The staff is nice and helpful

Bad points:
- They only have staff available until 10pm. Beyond that, you're out of luck.
- Advertised amenities include free wifi, but it's actually only available near their office.
- No toiletries when we arrived, nor on our second day. Have to go out to a sari-sari store to buy toiletries because they didn't provide it, and when I asked for it, they said the office is already closed and I should have asked it earlier. Great.
- The room we stayed in (Black and White room) is not clean at all. There's a crevice at the side of the bed that has trash -- I even saw a face mask there. There's only one power outlet so you'll have a hard time charging your devices; we have to pull out the refrigerator plug just to have an extra outlet. The shower is also not nice -- the shower head seems to be more of a faucet than a shower, and the shower knobs aren't connected securely and will fall off.
- The trash and the room didn't appear to be cleaned the next day of our stay.
- Didn't sleep well because of the very loud noise because there are people partying and singing the pool area even at the wee hours in the morning.
