Didn't experience the whole resort as we were only here for a few hours but the staffs there made us feel as welcomed as possible. They were very eager to serve their best to their visitors and you can feel their genuine concern for you. It was raining when we came and we had some food delivered. Big thanks!

We stayed overnight here just to experience LULJETTAS HANGING GARDEN and SPA. The only accommodation left is the Superior room which is Php3,500 per night. Which doesn't look like a Superior room at all. I've been to some resorts, and their Standard Room is much better than this. The room looks old and tiny, the bathroom looks dirty and SO SMALL and doesn't even have a butt hose. They have an old big TV with only few channels available. No free wi-fi inside room, you have to walk and go to their Lobby and Cafe. No telephone you have to go far to their Front Desk if you need anything. No slippers which means that I have to walk barefoot inside the room.
Nice ambiance. Location is good and very scenic overlooking Laguna De Bay and Manila skyline.
Will still come back but will not avail rooms.

Actually, my first time in Loreland Farm Resort was in December 2009, wherein we stayed there for 3 days and two nights for a symposium of GHQ civilian supervisors. I was not impressed at first coz we were there on an official business and I was not able to enjoy the surroundings.
My second trip was last April 9, 2014 at Luljetta's Hanging Garden. I was there with my hubby and an office mate. We enjoyed the Phase I of the water spa amenities (the hot and cold jacuzzi/pools) and then we had our full body massage. The spa services was really good, the service crew took care of us, the facilities are clean and tidy. I can't complain anymore. In totality, it's worth recommending to other.

We spent our weekends at Loreland Villa and we enjoyed every moment of it!
Review of Loreland Farm Resort
Reviewed today
The food was good. I just wish their restaurant had room service so we can have our food delivered to our rented villa. The nature scenery is so wonderful. Pool privacy is superb but the mini-falls in the jacuzzi/pool isn't working anymore, I hope they fix it soon. We're also very happy that they accommodated our dog. We had a fun time cooking barbecue and roasting mallows! We're also lucky the weather was perfect from when we arrived until we left. Note: The TV has no USB port :(. We hope to come back again very soon!

Let's put it this way. If there was a zero or negative rating button, this resort would have this.
We booked their Summer 2014 overnight getaway promo for my birthday weekend, mostly because we wanted to visit the Luljetta Hanging Gardens and Spa but didn't want to make the drive back to Manila on a Saturday. When we got there, we wished we never bothered. At that time, we paid Php3,800 for the package which included an overnight stay at their Superior Room, ala carte breakfast at Verde Restaurant and 1-hour signature body massages for 2 at Luljetta as well as access to the swimming pools at Loreland.
For 2014, a Php3,800 room rate would give you a really decent hotel room in the city so my expectations given that this place claims to be a resort is that we would be getting a clean room in a resort which is clean and well maintained.
First off, Loreland was a bit off the main road so you need to make sure you bring the resort location map. When we arrived around 11AM, the receptionist allowed us to check-in but during the check-in process told us we needed to check out by 9AM the next day. I was taken aback as most hotels would offer your early check-in if your room is already available and not because they are counting the exact 24-hour usage of the room. That made me feel like I was checking into some seedy motel instead of a resort - that was bad sign #1. Irate, I told the receptionist we'll wait for the proper check-in time instead but she hastened and said we can check-out 11AM the next day.
Bad sign #2. The receptionist then said I had to pay for the room upon check-in. Again taken aback, I told her this was unusual but given that we had to attend a lunch party in the city the next day, I figured this would save us time upon check out so I gave her my credit card. After 5 minutes she came back out and told me that the terminal wasn't working and that I should pay in cash. I was then pissed off. I had emailed the manager the day before and asked him if the card terminal was working or if I needed to pay in cash and I was told that credit card was fine. I told the receptionist I will pay upon check-out or will go back to the reception area later that day to try again.
Finally after more than 30 minutes, we were finally being escorted to our room. The superior room is located at the back of the resort and main reception and it's a bit of a walk given that the parking area is not paved and it gets muddy when wet.
Bad sign #3. The lady who was showing us to our rooms was moody and disinterested and just bored with her job. I was again taken aback to see 2 concrete structures that were in shambles and a tent on one side and lots of trash, fallen fruits and TONS OF FLIES around the back. The lady said that they were very busy because two day before as there was apparently some sort of movie or commercial shooting done in the resort. I really don't care about local showbiz or artists so for me it pisses me off when I hear excuses like how poorly the area was maintained because they were busy entertaining artists and the likes. We are paying customers, regardless of who was there beforehand, we expect the same treatment and the same clean conditions.
Bad sign #4. Our room was located next to the resort pool which the manager neglected to tell me was being repaired. In front of our room was a pocket garden with tables and chairs if you wanted to hang out - that is if you wanted to risk having a fruit fall on your head. The front of our room was a mixture of the bad smell of rotting fruits and swarm of flies feasting on the fallen rotten fruits. By the time we reached our room, I was wondering what I was thinking booking this resort.
Our room was musty smelling, really small, the bedroom floor was dirty, there was a lizard on our bed, a lot of ants swarming around given the rotten fruits outside our room and the bathroom was absolutely the pits. I mean I've stayed in guesthouses and B&Bs in the Philippines and even in other countries but this resort was really way way at the bottom of the barrel that a Php3,800 per night rate was ridiculous, promo rate or not.
The bathroom was so small and musty and with really old plumbing that I loathed to use it even with my slippers on. The room came with towels and shampoo packets and soap but I was glad we brought our own shower amenities and towels. Water from the faucet smelled strongly of rust. No wifi in room. TV channels is okay. A/c is noisy but at least cool enough.
The Verde Restaurant where we had our breakfast and other meals was surprisingly inexpensive and decent enough. But there's a lot of flies and mosquitoes so make sure you put on an anti-mosquito lotion before going there or anywhere in the vicinity.
All in all, I would not recommend anyone, not even my worst enemy to stay at Loreland Resort. It's not value for money (especially now as they seem to have upgraded their room rates to be similar to hotels in Manila - I wonder if they upgraded their rooms though).
You are better off just taking the day trip to visit Luljetta Hanging Gardens & Spa. Don't bother staying at Loreland Resort unless you want to waste money.

I experienced poor customer service yesterday in loreland! I'm supposed to avail their birthday promo yesterday which includes 10% discount for group entrance and cottage and free entrance for the birthday celebrant and we got that information from their facebook fanpage. The requirements according to their fanpage is just to bring a valid id and thats it. But when we get there, the receptionist named "maricar" asked for a voucher to avail the promo. I informed her that there is no instruction from their webpage about printing the voucher. I even show her the instructions that they have on their webpage that what I need is just to present a valid id, I even asked her to show me where to find the instruction stating that we need a voucher to avail the promo but she can't find it and still insist that I cannot avail the birthday promo. They have no consideration! Such a poor customer service. I'm also dissapointed with the place, the pools are small and smells bad. Even their bathrooms are so disgusting! I don't recommend this place.

Visited this place in June 2014 and decided never to come back to this place again.
Although the place is big, pools can be very crowded especially on peak seasons. The food, in my opinion is quite expensive and not worth the price...

Place was nice especially the Hanging Gardens but the restaurants were not. We were told that the main restaurant Verde closes at 10pm. Arrived around 8:50PM and staff was looking at each other as if thinking what to say. When I asked for the menu that was the time when they said they were already closed. Reason was they already did their "last call" (before 10pm).
Another 1 star down during breakfast wherein they don't even know which breakfast was included in the package which was clearly listed in the breakfast claim stub. Plus staff didn't know the availability of their menu.
Superior room was not superior at all.
Just don't avail of their package. A good place for day tour/night tour only.

We checked into the dog house (really small room) then was upgraded to a closet (a room a little better than a dog house). To add insult to the injury you have to wear a orange dog tag on your wrist (they said it is to make sure that we are one of the guest). On the upgraded room, we lost our phone privilege.. tsk..tsk..tsk... (so if you want an upgraded room, be prepared to give up in-room-telephone). The room is full of ants and the toilet bowl leak :( (eeeew!!!... They have this house rule that "Guest hold observe night time and have to make peace and quiet environment from period of 10pm to 7am, i.e. they are not to disturb other guest accommodating other rooms" BUT the people occupying the cabin beside us were very noisy until 2 am and we can't sleep. They were talking loudly, laughing, singing, playing loud music and at times, shouting. We called the management (using our own phone) for 4 times from 12 midnight to ask them to quiet down. But unfortunately they didn't enforce their rules. So we end up having a terrible night. The view was nice and the pool was enjoyable BUT the accommodation left much to be desired...

i tried the resort based on the information at their website. i expected to invite a party of fifteen and they suggested i chose the 'pantalan kubo'. the pantalan kubo could only accommodate 6 persons, so we were crammed. the pools were crowded and the public toilets were smelly. we ate at their inihaw store and although the chicken was burnt, the liempo was okay. we also had a foot massage at the spa which was probably the only highlight of the day. i suggest if you want to visit this place for a day tour, double the area you need to stay in (that is if you don't mind people all around you). call their reservation and see if you can reserve for a more private place with a dedicated pool. btw, the pools are small but acceptable if you don't plan to do any laps. none of the slides are working which was a disappointment for the kids. the staff are friendly and accommodating.
