The rooms are beautifully and lushly done in Moroccan design with plush rugs and accents. I especially liked the basket weave lampshades and hanging lights. Robes and slippers r provided.
The only downsides to the room: beds not super comfy but we had that in every hotel all over the country; bathroom is small and a bit cramped (small toilet area then sink in the middle and shower to the right all straight across). Also the door to all 3 was low so tall people may hit their heads. I liked that there was a public bathroom on the stairwell wading to reception as sometimes a second one comes in handy!
Dinner seemed a bit like we were on a cruise ship. Almost Everyone came to dinner at once and got served the same meal with a few exceptions. Felt a little like an assembly line but the food was very good (breakfast too) and they’re good about catering to any dietary restrictions (vegetarian, lactose intolerance etc.). I really hated to leave here.
The dinner and breakfast that they served rivaled being served in a five star restaurant and the place is just so unique.
We do not recommend Chez Pierre, there are so many other places to stay.
The service could not be more friendly and outstanding . The hotel musical band played Berber music two of the nights we were there. The food is amazing because the chef who is not only talented but has the passion.
Dinner at Chez Pierre is also an experience in itself. And at the end of the meal, the staff comes together to play the local drums and sing local folkloric songs, making the experience even more special.
Your Moroccan experience won't be the same without staying at this lovely place.
"avoid the base room if we are staying beyond just the night as it does not have any windows"Read full review
"It is very overpriced for what you get, poor value. The dinner is delicious but you paying separately for that. Poor service."Read full review
