We stayed here for one night as part of a three-day tour to the desert from Marrakech. I didn't have high expectations considering that the tour was organized, however I was very satisfied with this accommodation. The family that runs the hotel was very nice and welcomed us warmly. the room had recently been renovated and was well furnished in Berber style, the bathroom a little subdued and very simple, but completely functional. firm mattress as I like it and I slept very well on it. Buffet dinner really rich and good with the exception of the desserts offered which I didn't appreciate. Evening entertainment with drums by the family. Nice terrace in front of the restaurant area. the buffet breakfast was less interesting than dinner but still pleasant. If I return to Morocco to this area for trekking I would definitely consider staying here again. Overall a well renovated property with satisfactory cleanliness standards considering the average standards in the area.

I cannot say enough great things about this place. I think the first most remarkable thing about Maison Amazigh is the family + friends that operate it. They are welcoming, generous, sincerely kind, and endlessly thoughtful for all their guests - and for me, made a stressful experience (falling ill while traveling) significantly less stressful by coordinating with other parties on my behalf to arrange travel that would allow me to rest at the hotel for a night before rejoining my tour group the following day, as well as making extra efforts that helped me get better during my stay. I am extremely grateful for all they did on my behalf to help, and felt very relieved and cared for.

Other great things: the family is very generous in both demonstrating and engaging guests in exciting cultural activities, all meals were delicious with diverse offerings, the staff is incredibly detail-oriented, thoughtful, and attentive, and the hotel and it's surroundings are beautiful. I think it would have been worth a vacation to Morocco just to visit the Maison Amazigh and sit on their patio at sunrise and sunset. Thanks so much to the staff for a short but impactful stay!

This guest house has nothing from the outside, but on entering it is a beautiful discovery. The hosts are extremely kind and welcoming, I had the chance to exchange with them between our meal and the small show. They share a lot. Besides, the meal was excellent. There is also a swimming pool at the back with a fountain to cool off. The rooms are cute. The only downside is that the beds are not comfortable at all. But otherwise, everything is perfect, right in the mountains of limestone.

We stayed in the hotel for one night on our way to the desert, and had an amazing time here! The staff is extremely kind and made our time here memorable. The food was very good and the staff even made a musical performance for us after dinner. We definitely recommend this hotel for an unique experience!

The local dessert tour from Fèz brought us to this hotel. You can feel the enthusiasm of the owner, they prepared a great dinner and breakfast to the guests, as well as a music performance after dinner. Overall the stay is good and we slept very well. Recommended for budget travel around the area. Just be careful about the hot water which, for us, was not stable.

An amazing place! Family run hotel. Such a beautiful, welcoming family. They're hospitality is perfection! They greeted us with some traditional Amazigh wedding music and threw us a wedding celebration to highlight our nuptials! They even baked us a wedding cake. The dinner and breakfast was delicious. Zaid, the father of the family, was happy to share his knowledge on Amazigh history and culture with us! It was a very interesting and enriching experience. A stop by the Maison Amazigh is definitely a must if visiting Morocco! I highly recommend!!

I had an amazing experience staying at Maison Amazigh, me and my boyfriend stayed 1 night as part of a Merzouga desert roadtrip. They had a nice cool pool, and it was the nicest and most happy family helping us with everything we could ever need. I really wished we could have stayed longer and the food was very good.
And to top it all off, I forgot my makeup bag at the hotel and they really went out of their way to bring it all the way to a petrol station, where our tour guide/driver (Hassan was also amazing) picked it up and gave it to me. I felt spoiled, I think everyone should visit this great location and support the best Berber family out there!

We spent here only one night but we had a great time ! The hosts arranged a surprise cake when they discovered it was my birthday and then we celebrated all together with music drums and dancing. It was Amazing and I felt like part of a big family! The rooms are basic but cozy and food was very good. I recommend to stop there of you visit that area.

One of the most special places I have ever stayed. The terrace overlooking the valley is perfect for stargazing or reading in the morning. My room was spacious and clean, with cool evening breezes coming in from the window. The wifi was stable and there as AC (although there was no need for it, even in July). Moha and the rest of the staff were incredibly generous, kind, and friendly. The staff is multilingual, we had several lovely conversations. Breakfast and dinner were both incredibly delicious. The area around the hotel is beautiful, the street is lined with cedar, flowers, fig and olive trees, pomegranate trees. My favorite moments in Morocco were perhaps my long walks near the hotel seeing the sun rise and sun set in the mountains.

I would drive out to this area just to stay at this hotel and take sunset walks. Thank you to each of the staff who welcomed me!
