The best thing about this Riad is the warm, kind staff who genuinely want to make your stay the best one possible. Being a new Riad, the facilities are excellent and we enjoyed a delicious four course meal along with Berber music and dancing as part of our stay here. We feel very lucky to have experienced the kindness and warmth of the staff here and would not hesitate to stay here again!

We were brought to this hotel by our guide and we were so pleasantly surprised by it. The rooms are spacious and warm (we were here in February) but what really made the difference was the amazing view to the rocks Mountain Fingera. It is a mesmerizing view... The food was also amazing (different than the usual tanjin and couscous that you get everywhere in Morocco). And what really made me post this review (I rarely do so) is the good, friendly and professional service of the whole personnel at the hotel (special thanks to Abdoul!) who were always there for us and made us feel welcome and at home! Definitely visiting again!

We took a private tour (Authentic Sahara Tours) to the desert and stopped at Dades Valley for a night before reaching the camp.

I was really impressed with how lovely the guys are who run the hotel and welcomed us with smiles- it was fun and laughter.

The room was big and clean with wonderful view of the mountains from the balcony!

They made a lovely dinner (3 courses) in the evening and then played the drums for us and let us join in. This was the real highlight for me, as it was really fun to be relaxing and enjoying the evening together.

Nothing was too much trouble and they would help us and attend to our every need.

My boyfriend said he had the best night’s sleep in a long time! Cosy blankets and quiet.

The breakfast was lovely too.

Try and book this place if you are coming through beautiful and enchanting Dades Valley !!

Beautiful Riad, fantastic service in beautiful Dades. We only wish we had more than one night here. Rooms are comfortable and spotless and the staff is super attentive and patient with tired children. Food is delicious and they serve you a lot of it. Would absolutely stay again.

Our stay here was fantastic! Each room was spacious and comfortable and came equipped with bathrobes and water bottles. We requested an electric kettle which the staff provided! Each room also had a balcony with a scenic view of the mountains. Breakfast was delicious - hot omelette and fresh orange juice! What we appreciated most was the kindness of the staff. My husband broke his glasses and the staff at the front desk spent a good 10 minutes using hot glue, fire, and a cigarette to fix it! Brilliant!

We stayed for only one night during a five day tour in the area. Our only regret is we did not have time to stay longer. The location is excellent with spectacular views and an off the beaten path feel. The room was comfortable and clean and the food was outstanding! The dinner was very good with multiple corses served including desert. The breakfast was also very good with everything needed to start the day. The staff was amazing. They treated us like family and made sure we were comfortable at all times. After dinner they played traditional Berber music for us with drums, singing, and dancing. We truly felt at home at Riad Rihana and would absolutely recommend it to friends and travelers. We have been lucky enough to travel a lot and its not often that you get to experience the kind of hospitality we enjoyed at Riad Rihana. Thank you to Abdelohamdi, Cigarette, and the rest of the staff for making our stay with them memorable and fun. Friends for life!!!

We stayed one night at this riad which is Riad Rihana Tamlalt, just by Monkey Fingers viewpoint (apparently there's another Riad Rihana further up the gorge, but the photos already here on TA match where we stayed). This was a stop as part of a 5 night tour en route to the Sahara, which we had booked through Secret Escapes, and we didn't get confirmation on the accommodation included until we'd pay our balance, but we were happy with it.
We arrived at dusk in the rain, and it was also drizzly next morning, so didn't see the place at it's best, but it was welcoming and nicely lit. Our room Q was at the far end of the top floor and looked out over the pool terrace. It was a very spacious family room with double and single bed and large bathroom. The room was cold when we arrived but soon warmed up once we got the air con on a warm setting and there were nice rugs on the floor. The bed was comfortable and there was a good hot shower and hairdryer provided, and good internet. The riad seemed very peaceful and yet from the number of guests at meal times it looked to be quite full.
We were asked if we wanted dinner when we arrived, and were advised it was a set menu which was reasonably priced - soup with bread, a vegetable terrine, chicken in mushroom sauce with some rice, chips and green beans, and a very good creme brulee for dessert. We also enjoyed a lovely bottle of Moroccan Touareg rose wine. Breakfast was a buffet of cold items - breads, pancakes, a wide range of jams and spreads, yoghurt etc, plus the option to order an omelette too, which we took up.
This riad is in a lovely location within the gorge and it was just unfortunate that with the miserable wet weather whilst we were there we couldn't enjoy the pool or terraces, as they looked really appealing.

GOOD:
The road leading to Riad Rihanna following the Dades Valley is absolutely stunning! Upon arrival we were offered a traditional mint tea by the friendly staff. The riad is beautiful, well maintained and well situated within walking distance to one of the greatest trails of the Dades gorge – Monkey Fingers. Our stroll by the river was like walking through the garden of Eden, the locals are really welcoming too. The rooftop pool is magnificent, if not a little cold at the time of year we went; but this did mean we had it to ourselves. The staff bent over backwards to make us feel welcome and saw that we had everything we needed. They exceeded our expectations by planning live music, arranged a special cake; even the kitchen staff sang for my wife’s 40th birthday!

BAD:
If you are hoping to eat traditional Moroccan food you will be disapointed - which was the case for us. However, our kids were happy with the bolognese. Other than this I would have given Riad Rihanna 10/10.

Riad Rihana is a clean and quiet hotel in the Dandes Gorges with a gorgeous view of the 'monkey fingers ' rock formation. The staff is young and have very warm and energetic personalities. Highlights : west facing balcony and terrace for optimal sunset viewing and cute bowls for dinner.
