When you stay here they make you feel like you are staying as a guest in their family home.

The room is comfortable, the Wi-Fi is stable, hosts are very friendly. They make you dinner and then they come and have coffee or tea with you afterward.

Give us a good lay of the land for the local village.

Great hiking around here.

The hotel was recently redone, so everything is new. New blankets new air-conditioning new accommodations and everything. Really nice hot water. They even leave clothes that you can wear, like if you need a warmer jacket, they have Berber camel hair jackets that you can wear.

While everything in here is clean and new and went well ordered, The best thing about it is the stove. Two brothers run the place and I felt like we were part of the family within hours of getting here.

I could not recommend this place more highly.

We’re from Los Angeles and had never been to Morocco. On the strong recommendation of a Canadian couple we met in another town, we booked one night at the Dar Ahlam as part of our road trip. We made the booking online, easily, the night before our stay.

Our stay at Dar Ahlam in the Dades Gorge was fantastic. Me, my wife, and 10-year old son loved our gorgeous, spacious, and clean room. The interior design throughout this recently restored building is absolutely exquisite. The decor is a pleasing mix of traditional Moroccan design and modern metalwork. Lots of good photo ops. The neighborhood is quiet and rural, and in a great location in the Gorge, very close to the cool winding road you see in the travel ads. From the outdoor rooftop patio we enjoyed watching a short rainfall, and then kids coming out to play soccer for a little while. All very quiet and peaceful.

Friendly and capable staff, and Ibrahim is the best! Ask him how he did the renovation himself! A lovely dining room for the excellent meals, and the price is very reasonable for both food and lodging…I sincerely hope to return sometime, there was not one bad thing about it!

I cannot express enough what a wonderful place this was to stay. Talk about hospitality. I was immediately greeted by Mohammed, the owner of the Riad who welcomed me with some delicious mint tea. Later, we enjoyed a complimentary home cooked dinner (it was delicious) by the fire.

The rooms are spacious, have air conditioning, have large comfortable beds and were well decorated.

To relax, visitors can sit out on the terrace upstairs enjoying a drink while taking in the stunning valley view.

Looking forward to breakfast in the morning. Truly five star experience.

This hotel provided excellent service with quality accommodations and food at a very affordable price.
Brothers Mohamed and Ibrahim, were attentive and ensured our satisfaction.
Room 11 had a balcony terrace with furniture. The room was clean, large and comfortable. It had a heater/air conditioner. We needed the heat and having the unit and warm blankets were great.
We were served a delicious supper in a very romantic private room with soft music, fireplace and candles.
This was a real gem after spending the previous night in a very rustic place at almost the same price.
Great location to visit the gorge and monkey finger rock formations.
We were shown the swimming pool and sauna that will be completed by the summer.
A great get away location!

Living here in the third night in Morocco, near the Dades Gorges, the boss is quite nice and served us with delicious mint tea when we arrived. The decoration here is quite elegant and traditional. Dinner is the traditional and delicious cuisine. You can also appreciate the brilliant stars and Galaxy in the balcony of the room.

My friend and I did a private 3day/2night tour to Sahara- Merzouga and spent one night at the Dar Ahlam hotel. Wow! This hotel was clean, spacious, had a private balcony, and the food!!!! They welcomed us with hot tea with mixed nuts, fig, biscuits and it felt like home. We felt welcomed and safe as soon as we entered the hotel. Dinner was a coursed meal-very tasty, olives, bread, oils, traditional salad, meatball tagine, fruit, more delicious tea and great conversations. We picked a great night to watch the locals celebrate in the street and stargazing. Perfection.

The room key was the cutest. The attention to details of the staff and the room decor is unmatched. We woke to breakfast ready for us. Another coursed meal of eggs, pastries, jam, breads, yogurt, fruits, coffee and juice…THE WORKS!

We stayed one night but this place is worth staying a few nights. The staff was welcoming, spoke many languages to include English. I highly recommend and will stay here again.

Thank you. Gracias. Chokrane. Daalu.

After a long journey, we reached this place surrounded by the grandeur of the rock formations of the Dades valley. As soon as I entered I felt at home: partly because of the typical Berber-style welcome, made up of so much kindness and excellent thyme-flavoured tea, and partly because of the environments which instill that beautiful sensation of enveloping warmth.
The room was very large and well looked after, I really appreciated the presence of typical slippers and traditional clothing covers to wear in the evening, when the temperature range is felt and the temperatures drop.
Dar Ahlam Dades also has a beautiful swimming pool on the terrace, surrounded by loungers for sunbathing on the hottest days, and tables with mountain views.
Score 10 also for dinner, with very good traditional local dishes, and for breakfast: there was really everything (sweet and savory, just how I like it!)
I really hope to return to Dar Ahlam soon to spend more time because it is a great base for exploring the area: there are lots of hiking routes that lead to incredible places and the staff will help you organize and book these excursions!
Highly recommended, I will definitely return!

The experience was very good. It is a high-end hotel here. It includes breakfast and dinner, and is more suitable for Chinese tastes. The room is also relatively large, and even bath products are prepared. The bedding is also relatively clean. After entering, you will be asked to sit down and drink tea and then fill out the check-in form. Then someone will take you to the room to rest first. Dinner is about 20:40 and breakfast is at 8:00. I especially want to praise the juice here, which is really sweet. The salad with sour cream is also very good overall. The main course is rice with some soup (I can't tell what it is) and some fried food. Overall, it is not a bad deal, the service is also enthusiastic, and it feels worth the price.
