We didn't know what to expect when we arrived at Moha's place. It turned out it was very very nice! Altough the weather was particularly cold in february, we enjoyed the place as special guest, as we were the only clients (low season). Incredible views, walkable distance to treks and the village, nice advices and staff ( if you can meet Abdoul, he's the sweetest!). Moha was really generous and true. Recommended!

It's about 30km up the Dades Gorge, an astonishing drive in a shared taxi from Boumalne. Le Kasbah De Victor is perched high on the very edge of the Gorge in a truly spectacular location. We were warmly welcomed and looked after by our Berber hosts, who spoke reasonable English. The hotel has great rooms, with a small swimming pool (bracing to swim in, but still wonderful). We spent many happy hours relaxing in the serene and beautifully kept garden, which also contains a Berber tent. A path leads down to the river, with wonderful views into the Gorge, and great walking. A traditional Berber village is a short walk away. The food was excellent - beautiful soups and great tajines, a good breakfast, served in a windowed dining room overlooking the Gorge. The en-suite showers could do with some modernising, but they worked ok and this didn't affect our enjoyment of the place. In fact, we stayed two nights and liked it so much we returned for a third, after travelling for two more days in the upper reaches of the Dades valley (where it was hard to find even a passable hotel). Make sure to take cash, as there are no card machines in the valley, and no internet. I can wholeheartedly recommend Le Kasbah de Victor as a great base in the Dades valley, and a real oasis of tranquility.

We decided to stay here because of the isolated location. We enjoyed three nights of great food and peace. Christine recommended us a day trek with Mohammed and we enjoyed it very much. The food was surprisingly good and we enjoyed particularly the deserts. The room was a bit cold but we could have asked for extra heating. The water takes time to heat up and we were a little bit uncomfortable about the waste of water. However, overall, we would definitely stay here again.

Victors Kasbah is quite unique. Situated in splendid isolation in the Dades gorge it has stunning views and a lovely garden complete with pool. The french speaking owner was quite friendly. The hotel itself is small but with a tastefully decorated dining area with huge windows taking in the view. The room was relatively basic but comfortable and clean. Food was excellent. It was reasonable value for money. The real selling point of this place is its uniqueness due to its isolated location. It would be a great place to relax and do nothing for a few days and / or explore the gorge. Would recommend traveling further up to Msemrir, especially for the saturday market, the gorge views on the way are quite exceptional. If you stay here, your own transport would be highly recommended.

Best hotel experience in Marokko. The view with live television, the "relax max" atmosphere, the authentic food and the very friendly and helpfull staff were all excellent. Abu cuisine was the best we had while friendly Abdul taught us some Berber. We would definately return here for a longer stay!

It's nothing what you would expect, amazing location, SaĂŻd was lovely with us since we arrived and very welcoming. I would have loved to stay a bit more. The Diner was probably the best and most traditional I've had in Morocco. I definitely recommend this place. It was my best experience in morocco. I will be back.

Nice, detached Kasbah in the Dades gorge. Meal was great, the owners with their huge turbans very friendly. Be aware of the fact that Internet access depends the wind situation (there is no WiFi) and having a shower without having a wet toilet afterwards is impossible. Nevertheless, we had a very nice and relaxing stay at Kasbah de Victor

What a wonderfull place. In the middle of nowhere. Just the mountains. To high for WiFi:) fantastic food. Hassan turns the electricity down when you are of to sleep and you must ask him to put the hotwaterknob on when taking a shower. But it is always 'no problem'.
