upon arrival no one will help you with your baggage: they will just give you a hand after checking in. rooms are old(to think the price is not so cheap) windows have incomplete panels. no toilet flush-but they fixed it when we complained-but come on it should have been checked before visitors arrived. the room that was given doesn't even have proper setup: when asked they gave us this towel with a hole. Some employees were nice BUT people in the BF buffet were like -just there to work-no talk no smile just work

I regret to say that our experience at the hotel was disappointing. The room showed signs of age, the TV display was blurred, making it difficult to enjoy. Food options were limited, with the only choices being the buffet or Japanese cuisine. Arriving just before 10 am left us with no food options until the 11:30 buffet. Additionally, the menu prices were high, and the taste didn't match the cost. Unfortunately, my family and I won't be returning.

DO NOT stay here if you have a choice. The rooms and bathrooms are dirty. If you are coming from the US, this “resort” is the equivalent of a run down Motel 6 circa 1970. When we came to our hotel door, there was garbage piled up by the door and the cleaning cart was left there. We had to call the front desk to ask them to remove the cart and garbage. The cart moved but the garbage did not. Our air conditioner did not work and the bathroom sink had food crammed down the drain and the shower was dirty. The door lock was drilled out and not covered. Our other family members rooms had this part covered even though it was drilled out. We asked to move to another room and the room we got was worse but the air conditioner worked. The lock was still drilled out and not covered but this door had dents chips in it. The bathroom was still dirty and the card to engage the electric lights was jammed with a paper drink coaster. Because we were with a large party, we could not move hotels otherwise we would have. We were told that the hotel was full and was undergoing renovations. Lastly if you want Wi-Fi, you need to go to the lobby because they do not have in room Wi-Fi. I thought I saw some conference rooms so if you think this is a destination for business, think again. This is by far one of the worst hotels I have stayed at.

We own multiple units at the village residence previously owned by Canyon Cove. These lots were sold on the premise that we would have access to resort amenities. Yesterday we were able to walk in and sit at the bar where we spent several hours ordering multiple drinks as well as purchased a handful of snacks and inflatables at the gift shop on the way out (spending several thousand pesos in the few hours we were there). Today however we were denied access and were asked to purchase 500 peso day passes instead - we walked away on mere principle alone. If 500 pesos is worth more than the 5,000 pesos we would have likely spent today, then it is no wonder their hotel appears to be in such quick decline with only a dozen guests poolside (as we witnessed yesterday). We will be taking our wallets to other businesses in the area and would advise all to do the same. The drinks were fantastic and the bar tender was brilliant (Imat was his name), but unfortunately we will not have the opportunity to experience him again until the hotel changes their insensible policy.

First and foremost, this review is only BASED ON OUR OWN EXPERIENCE. 1.) We booked 2 superior rooms in advance through online FULLY PAID. We arrived an hour ( around 2:00PM ) before check-in time , waited until 4:00PM before we got the chance to finally lay in our bed. 2.) We booked through online knowing that the max number of people in each room is 4 person and we paid for all that. To our surprise, the receptionist said that only the 3 occupants was paid and the 4th one isn’t ? We thought it’s all good because we paid for four. 3.) We have a reservation in advance, but when we arrived there’s no available room. They told us that the only available one’s are on the 1st & 3rd floor of the building. It took around 30 minutes to settle. 4.) There’s not enough blanket to accommodate us, and we couldn’t tell the management due to the telephone is broken. We booked a reservation to lessen our hassle, and yet they failed us. Canyon Cove is without a doubt a wonderful place to stay for vacation, but the management ruins its image. This is our third time visiting Canyon Cove, and we can really say that they lack consistency. We are disappointed that we will never go back again.

Cons: The key card is not working. We need to go back to the reception several times to fix the issue. Its okay if we are just near the lobby but its not. We are in the farthest side of the resort. Aircon is freaking cold we cannot change the thermostat as it will create moist. Though we did not change the thermostat it still create great amount of moist. Requested extra bath mat towel it did not arrive. Thank God there's no accident because of the moist floor. Telephone is not Working. Just for display better remove it. Reception doesnt have any phone in the area so if you need immediate assistance goodluck! I am asking for any contact number because of the key card issue since I dont want to go back and forth. Food is very expensive. Go to L'bulalo few minutes from resort. Dont spend your hard earn money. Its like a neglected resort. Not advisable for pregnant, family with small kids and elders. BTW we are not the only customer who have terrible experience on that day while I am in the reception I have 3 more on my back who should be sleeping by 10 PM but still providing our feedback and complain. The beach area is nice I think thats the only consolation we have.
