Just visited Pico deloro in Batangas for two nights. We rented a 2 bedrroom condo for P9000 per night. Comfortable stay with only one CR. Kids enjoyed the pool, but the ocean / cove was a real disappointment. H2O visibility was about 18 inch. Water clarity was not better than beaches in Cavite (Tanza). A condo guest has to pay for pool or beach towell service. One restaurant and a high end 7 eleven on property that was very limited & expensive. We stopped in Nasugbu at a Walter Mart (great market)for supplies & groceries. A great move to skip the restaurant and cook your own meals. I hired a driver for P1500. On the way, we stopped to buy local white corn & bigas (fresh uncooked rice @ P48 for a kilo. To enter the grounds, there is charge for P1600 per person @ $32. That adds up for 7 adults to enter the property( kids are free). The Gym, pool & beach are the only free amenities on property. You cannot use cash on property. Credit, debit or e plus cards ( exchange rate is P50 to the USD)are only acceptable for purchases. Staff is friendly. Do not visit during Holly week. Estimates were @ 5000 people. Beware of staff trying to sell memberships to the site. I wanted to rent a boat to visit another beach. PDL has 13 other beaches for members. There rental rate for non members was P1400 per person for one hour, which equals $200 for 7 guests visit another Beach for one hour. The resort is expensive and limited. If you don't have a car, then you are basically stuck for the duration of your stay. Hotel guests are paying almost $400 per night. My recommendation is to pass Pico deloro as a destination. I have crossed it off my list. Salamat Po.

Our first night of our summer outing at Pico de Loro included dinner at the private condominium unit of a batchmate. After an hour of swimming at the grand pool which winds through several mini pools and relaxing with the massage like waters of the spouts within the pool area, we were hungry for dinner. A quick change and we hied off to the condominium. We arrived to a full house of 24 persons. Surprised that we fitted snugly in the unit. Some were in the verandah and others in the sala. Some were seated at the dining table. Dinner was sumptuous....grilled lobsters(freshy caught in the sea waters of Nasugbu), adobong pusit, sinigang na baboy and veggies to balance. Our desserts included fresh watermelon and nice round golden bananas. We even had wine and expresso coffee. What an marvelous party. The 2-bedroom unit was well designed and spacious enough. The rest room was not cramped unlike other condo units. After two hours of merriment and dining, we all went back to our hotel rooms and looked forward to a nice wonderful sleep after a long day of fun.

The unit we rented over Christmas was not up to scratch and we were disappointed with our stay. Needs a lot of attention in my view if you want folks to enjoy their stay. No drinking glasses whatsoever, we were forced to drink our wine out of the coffee mugs!! even after complaining to the owner The manager / caretaker didn't show us how to turn on the hot water n she had to come back again to turn it on At all the restaurants & shop in the resort they only take cards, no cash is used at all and everything is extremely expensive, we will not be returning there

The location of this place is excellent surrounded by mountains and on the beach it is a picture postcard location, however the cost of everything is quite high, we took family so we were paying for everything, the food is limited as most the stuff on the menu was not available, we thought it best to ask what they had rather than the waiter to keep telling us sorry we don't have that, staff are very welcoming and polite, there is a cashless system so you need to buy a prepay card or use credit cards while in the resort, our rooms were good and well equipped, overall I would recommend this if you can afford the cost as this is a private resort with no locals trying to sell overpriced melted ice-cream, but beware of the registration cost of php1300 per person then extra for the pre paid card of php80 plus a mandatory top up of php1000

Stayed at Pico de Loro - Jacana A 611 for 4D/3N and had a great time. Pros: > The grounds is very spacious, clean and well-maintained > Has a very picturesque lagoon, fountain and park around the condo units > The beach is wonderful! Though the sand is not white like in Boracay, but brownish gray, still the water is so clear and the the sand so smooth. Since this is an exlusive resort, everything is well-maintained > Pool - sparkling clean > Enjoyed feeding the fish at the lagoon > Safe and relaxing. Wonderful views of the mountain, lagoon and the moon at night from our unit Cons: > Hotel and resto is a bit pricey > Our unit needs some improvement

We booked the place using booking platform and was organized by third party individual. It wasn't a good experience at all. Because, just when you thought you've already paid using the platform, upon entering the area you'll be surprised that there'll be a loooong queue for the cars and from the 'registration lobby' which were never ben aware of. It could have been a smooth holiday if from the start the person we were in contact with if she just briefed us on what's gonna happen once we enter the premises and what we should do. No. Nothing. Nothing at all. You'll just be surprised on how much you'll be paying once you get there. Additionally, we already informed a week ahead our contact that we'll upgrade our accomodation. She said, that'll be fine we just have to add 5000 pesos, surprise, the caretaker of our accommodation refused to receive 5000, she claimed that she expected 6500. So we called our contact that moment and so she said sorry that caretaker disagreed about this. So, we're already there and what are we gonna do? Nothing, just pay. It's like a click bait and just totally false ads. I highly advised future guests to be aware on what they'll be paying. It's just sad that developer and advertisers are trying to build a brand for this place, yet, it's slowly being destroyed of those who just want to make an income for short period of time.

What an enchanting sight from our way up to the lush green mountain down to Pico de Loro Hamilo Coast! Quite a long and tiring drive but it was worth it. The entrance fee was quite a surprise since it was not stipulated before the booking was completed. Nonethess, it didn't matter that much for the staff at the registration counter, the guards are accommodating and the view all around the property is absorbing. The mesmerizing God-made landscape is undoubtedly unparalled and the man-made backdrop is simply jaw-dropping. Since we arrived early, we stayed at the clubhouse and had our lunch at the resto. I give another A rating for the food and the place. By the way, no cash is accepted for payment. In every transaction, either a tap or a swipe is needed, only cards are allowed. All the amenities would have been perfect if the waters were not wild.😢Swimming was only allowed in the early morning while the sea was placid and was forbidden as early as 10 in the morning. Albeit, all these mentioned did not have a negative effect on our entire stay for the whole experience was great. The only disappointing thing about our stay at the property was the accommodation at Jacana B. Although it was large enough, I would give it a C for various reasons: 1.)The building needs maintenance and refurbishments; 2) The floors are stained-white is already gray or light brown; 3)Our room was large but the floor is dirty from the kitchen to the CR; 4) The water from the bathroom spreads to the toilet since there is no partition; 5) A password for the Wi-fi was provided but we wondered what that was for since the room does not have a Wi-fi; 5) The light in the CR does not work. Despite the request for bulb replacement, no action was taken; lastly, 6)The water from the airconditioner keeps the veranda wet. To sum it up, although the room is not worth the value, the restaurant, the beach, the pool, and other facilities are worth an A. The property in general is superb!

We rented a one room unit for a one day rate of P6,000 good for 6 people. The unit was complete with a refrigerator, small kitchen equipment and beddings. It could perhaps comfortably accommodate 2 more persons since the room would just be for sleeping and safekeeping personal belongings. Parking is available in field adjacent to the condo. Rate and condo resources , however, may vary since these are owned by different people.

If you would like to relax and be a part of the worlds’ creme de la creme, I would suggest this place; having your own unit gives access to a privately luxurious resort where you can redeem your strength, relax and enjoy the units has different designs depending on each owner, we can use all the facilities and the beautiful beach club to rate this I call everything excellent!

Stayed for 3 days and 2 nighys at one of the condo units in Jacana Building. Condo is well maintained and complete with amenities. Very close to the Clubhouse by walking distance and beach by shuttle. Pico De Loro is a very nice place for family. It offers so many activities for the young ones and even the old ones. The pool is very big, you feel like you can have your own place even though at that time the place is crowded because of the holiday celebration. Restaurant food is good enough. You just have to pay for every activity you would like to do (i.e. children's play area, bowling, board games etc.). Beach is quite clean and the texture of the gray sand is fine. Overall, we had a pleasant stay at Pico De Loro and would love to come back!
