Visited here Summer 2020 as we were staying locally elsewhere. The food was fine, perhaps a basic but the kids were happy with their options. The place just seemed to lack the personal feel, we felt rushed as they tried to clear ny childrens plates (twice) before they finished eating. We do plan to visit the area again in the summer, we would like to stop by again - Hopefully just an off day.

Stayed here for two nights the minute we checked in all staff helpful, food in restaurant good , covid safe and kept to all rules . Breakfast in morning excellent and server Maria excellent . The garden rooms fantastic decorated to high standard and very dog friendly . A big thank you to all staff for making it a couple of enjoyable days

We thought we would get away for a few days in a part of England I have never visited and came across this hotel online. It was genuinely a very nice, clean hotel and the staff was lovely. There is a “resident’s lounge” where we were able to watch three Six Nations Rugby matches with table service for our drinks. We would definitely stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay. The staff were very kind and helpful. The breakfast was cooked to order which is rare these days. Absolutely delicious. Would highly recommend and will definitely rebook if we need to travel this way again. Many thanks xx
