Relaxing and in beautiful grounds. The building is step free. Our room was the one with disabled adaptations. It was well designed , attractive and spacious for those with or without a wheelchair.I appreciated the excellent anti- allergenic bedding which was provided on request. We slept very well as it was dark at night and the comfy bed was huge. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Perfect picturesque and pristine. Truely Idyllic. Our room (Elm) was lovely with ample wardrobe space and one of the most powerful showers I have ever used - fab. Toiletries provided. All rooms on the ground floor and the lobby/ glass corridor looks onto to a lovely courtyard with table and chairs (we ate our breakfast there each morning). Breakfast tray was delivered to our room ( selection of cereal, fresh fruit, yougurts and toast). The Cock pub is 3 mins walk up the lane opposite the Lodge gates and The Axe and Compass in the next village 15 mins amble by the river and through the fields). Hosts are wonderful, warm and welcoming and contacting them on messages worked a treat . This is absolutely the place to stay to enjoy the countryside.

We booked to attend a wedding in the village and the location could not be better as we were next to the church. Although everything was done remotely, introduced for Covid, it all worked very well. The room had everything we needed and the furnishing were all to a high standard. The shower was amazing; the jets were very powerful and the sliding door completely silent. We did find the bed was a bit too soft for us but others might have found it perfect.

Had a great stay for 5 days. The breakfast was of High quality and the staff were very friendly. I would recommend it to anyone staying around the area. The surroundings are great with a few pubs around for refreshments and food. I will definitely be back for a second round.

Perfect for a night or two away. Rooms are lovely, clean and well presented. Pillows perfect - always a good sign in a hotel. Brilliant shower. Excellent value for money. The village is very picturesque and local pub is very nice. Very tranquil and peaceful. There is a Budgens local shop within walking distance of hotel rooms. St Ives is about 30 mins walk away or short cab ride. Town centre has some nice pubs and restaurants. There is a Weatherspoons in Town Square. Perfect - 5 out 5 stay here and can highly recommend.

We stayed for one night before we travelled to Cambridge. Our room in the Lodge was beautifully decorated and presented. The bed was really comfortable and we had a restful, quiet night . Covid precautions were taken at every turn: we felt safe and reassured by the measures in place. Breakfast was brought to our room and it was a large tray of goodies! ( Warm toast too! ). There was fresh fruit salad , cereals, yogurt and a selection of great quality jams and spreads, as well as fresh milk , tea, coffee and orange juice. We felt really looked after and pampered. Many thanks for a lovely stay.
