I really wanted to give Ports of Call 4.5 stars and round up to 5 but there was one safety concern that kept me from doing so... Pros: ---Check-in was super easy and they let me check in hours early. Thank goodness because I did not want to sit out in the heat after traveling overnight! Check-out was the easiest I've ever had, a simple return of my room card and towel card (yes, they use the dreaded towel card for towels) with nothing due on my account and done! ---My room and the rest of hotel and pool were quite clean. The pool is just big enough for the size of the resort and the water is fairly warm so when the sun goes down over the buildings, the pool is warmer than the air. I didn't try out the hot tub because whew, it was hot every day. ---I booked PoC over similarly priced resorts because of the continental breakfast and it did not disappoint (although I was tired of eating the same thing after 6 nights it was free so I can't complain too much). They have a pretty standard fare every morning of boiled eggs, toast w/butter/pb&j, cereal, yogurt, fruit, croisssants, grilled potatoes, coffee, tea, juice, etc. (the coffee is what you would expect, barely drinkable). They change a few things up each day like some days there was bacon, some days ham, some days waffles! from a waffle iron, etc. ---The beach is gorgeous and a short walk across the street (not sure where the supposed beach shuttle is and why you would need it, it is a pretty short walk). There are plenty of loungers and big umbrellas. Make sure to get your towel frrom the front desk before you go down to the beach. Splurge on a coconut that a guy walking the beach sells and cracks open for you. ---The resort is in a very convenient location with a grocery store across the street and plenty of restaurants within walking distance. I felt safe walking to Danny Buoys for karaoke on my own one night as it's a short 10 min walk away. Cons: ---So, the safety concern I mentioned is for the door to my room. The door did not close on its own like most hotel room doors that are heavy and close once you let them go. I didn't realize this the first time I went into the room (and other times because I forgot about it) so eventually I realized that the door was actually open just hovering at the door frame. It makes a sound when the prongs run into the doorframe which is why I thought it had closed. I had to forcefully push the door shut for it to actually click closed. ---There's not one complimentary bottle of water in the fridge when you get to your room. It would have been nice after a long day of traveling and I didn't know until I went to breakfast the next day that they keep the coffee on all day and there is ice water in the breakfast room in the lobby. I recommend going to the grocery store (very americanized) across the street to stock up on bottled water or they have gallons of water you can buy. The island does not sell alcohol in grocery stores on Sundays, FYI!! You can still get drinks at bars/restaurants though. Other random things: ---Shout out to Joseph (?, terrible with names) for being friendly to this solo traveler. ---The hotel bar says it's open from like noon but it seemed randomly staffed, happy hour with 2 for 1 drinks from 4:30-6:30pm though! Overall, I think PoC was a great value!!

I had the opportunity to spend my birthday week here at Ports of Call Resort and I have to tell you I am beyond amazed! Fabiola at the front desk went above and beyond her duty to make us feel at home. The price was the best considering the very expensive area. The staff kept the room pristine, the brkfast buffet was fresh and cooked with love. The rooms were spacious and renovated and love the fact that they have a shuttle and their own location on Grace Bay Beach. Thank you to Aggie (Asst. Mgr.) for purchasing lunch and drinks and I am recommending everyone here..Not enough room to give enough praise!

Wonderful gem of a hotel. So glad we stayed here. This resort is a very reasonable priced hotel that delivers much more than what you pay for. Fantastic location. Right on Grace Bay with designated beach access a short 2 minute walk away. The beach area is well stocked with beach chairs (although we travelled in low season so things may be different in high season when the beaches are packed)and umbrellas and has an employee to assist and also sell drinks. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Rooms were spacious and clean. The resort is within walking distance of a big supermarket where you can stock up on supplies and also several restaurants, cafes so you are never short of choices. Many souvenir and craft shops within walking distance if you want to do some shopping. I would definitely stay here again if visiting Providenciales.

Well here we are again back in the UK after two weeks in paradise. It was a job to get through the portal which gave us entry clearance just 3 hours before we flew. Our massive thanks to Shay without their help I believe we wouldn’t have made it. Ports of Call Resort have been part of our holiday lives for many years now, Covid came and spoiled it last summer but we were not letting it stop us this year. From the minute we walked in at 4.30 on the Tuesday I started my relaxation therapy. Watson was the first person I came across his big smile and wonderful personality hasn’t changed he welcomed his “mate” like an old long lost friend. Over two weeks I realised he treats everyone like this he is a credit to POC but he’s not alone from Flo 😁 to breakfast ladies, Paul?? Security guard, the room service personal, reception and a new face on management I didn’t catch her name apologies. All these people made our trip. If you’re thinking about TCI as a holiday break you would be mad not too stay here. It’s 5 minutes from the worlds best beach Grace Bay, it has restaurants on tap, a supermarket a few minutes away and it’s all on a budget price. Rooms are newly refurbished, spotlessly clean and modern. Make your next trip Ports of Call you won’t regret it. Thanks to all, see you in 11 months

Very pleasant stay at Ports of Call, from the warm welcome from reception staff, welcome drink and access to the clean and comfortable room straight away. The room, cleaned daily, was large and well appointed with dining and sofa area, tv, large bed and bathroom with a good strong shower power. The pool area was clean and pleasant and breakfast was sufficient including, cereal, bread/toast, bagels, waffles, croissants, yogurt; boiled eggs, different changing options of bacon, sausage and cheese. Fruit included alternating bananas, melon, orange segments and apples. Hot water was always available on tap throughout the day and night for tea/coffee. Flo was an absolute gem, providing impeccable service from the moment I arrived until I left which was welcoming as I was travelling solo. Nothing was to much to ask for and she ensured my needs were attended to. Other helpful reception staff included dominic who was attentive and good to talk to, michael, donesha, sandy, fabiola, and the kitchen staff. Great pool, although I did not use it as the glorious beach was five minutes walk away. Loungers always available and towels available from reception; at times there was a wait for fresh towels. Excellent location with Ports of Call shops nearby as well ad a few restaurants. The Terrace had a pleasant atmosphere, Boogaloos was ok, and Seven Stars hotel restaurant and The Deck all have tasty cuisine. My only bugbear with Ports of Call was the rusty, leaking ice machine on the first floor which has clearly been leaking for some time! An overflowing cup was propped to collect leaking water, with towels bunched up against the cup to mop up the water. The water would leak across the corridor and is an accident waiting to happen. Guest health and safety is an issue here!!! Otherwise a great hotel that I would recommend and stay at again.
