Small Hotel, over helipad
All Rooms are Helipad facing , excellent view
Foods also simple, non-spicy
Very clean Room, whereas bathrooms is pretty small
Entry Road to this hotel could be a headache, steep Road and sometimes you have to take reverse 0.5 km if car is coming from another side.
Must visit Bharmani mata temple.
The hotel located in a mind blowing place (helipad ground). The view is outstanding from the rooms. We faced some power cut problems as no power back up was available. Otherwise, the room was in good condition and service was also good. Geyser was there in bathroom. Food preparation was also more or less okay. The place is really really mind blowing.
I stayed here from 14th October to 16th October 2018.The hotel has been newly constructed and is clean and beautiful. The mighty Dhauladhar range can be seen from every room. One can watch sunrise from the room itself. The staff are friendly and co-operative.The food has to be ordered in advance and the cook will deliver them on time.I ordered my meal on the go and found it ready on reaching the hotel. There is a dinning room on the ground floor, but one can take the meals in the room with no extra charge. In front of the hotel is the helipad from where helicopter service is available for Manimahesh darshan from Janmastami to Radhastami. The Chaurasia temple is walking distance from the hotel.Arati is worth watching in the evening.Bharmani Mata temple is another attraction which can be accessed by a two kms trek or by a six kms car ride. The kungti village and wildlife sanctuary is 18 kms from the hotel. There in Kungti is the Kartick Swami temple which is a beautiful spot. Most travellers come back after visiting Dalhousie but I would suggest everyone to visit Bharmour.
The location is both the bane & boon of this hotel. Located on presumably the highest point in Bharmour, which has the helipad, this is a relatively new HPTDC hotel. Being at a vantage point, the views from here are absolutely stunning.
Even early - May, we were almost at an arm's distance to the snow capped mountains. But, at the same time, the approach to get to this location is frightening. A narrow steep uphill lane brings you to the hotel; if another vehicle comes from the opposite direction, you are bound to be stuck.
The severe incline means vehicles with low ground clearance can face a problem. The hotel itself is basic but good. It has a working WiFi. Our room had a wonderful view of the helipad & the mountains.
The staff was courteous; they regaled us with many stories. They also arranged a cab for us for sightseeing. The restaurant treated us to good food - Aloo-Pyaz Parathas, Chicken Rara, & Mutton.
Our only concern was the moths in the room; due to these, we had to keep the windows closed. Overall, a great place to stay in Bharmour.
Hotel Gaurikund is a HPTDC run hotel in Bharmour. The hotel is relatively new. It has been setup in 2014.
The Hotel is situated at the highest point in Bharmour, at the helipad. From the helipad you can have a clear view of the Pir Panjal snow peaks.
The hotel only has 6 rooms. We stayed in the delux room, which was value for maney @1800 per night.
The room was big enough with a clear view of the snow peaks, it has a clean bathroom. The staffs are extremely helpful. Bharmour is relatively non touristy place. Hotel staffs will help you finding proper cabs in absolutely reasonable rate for going around. They will also provide you important information about local attractions.
The Chaurasi temple is a 5 minutes walk from the hotel downhill.
The food was very homely, and we thoroughly enjoyed it for couple of days.
