Write a review4泊5日で滞在したが、私がプールタオル泥棒をしたとライフガードに言われてとても心外だった。3日間は問題なくダイビングに行くためにタオルを借りれ、返した。しかし、最終日に突然現金で100ペソデポジットのため必要だと言われた。ダイビングに行くため、現金は持っていなかった。最終的に彼らは私たちが彼らにダメージを与えないこと、そして彼らが私たちにダメージを与えても補償を放棄させる契約書にサインするように迫ってきた。チェックインのときにクレジットカードをデポジットのために登録するのは何のためなのか意味がわからない。旅行でこんな嫌な気持ちにさせられたことは今までない。結局タオルは借りなかった。
帰ると、ハウスキーピングがしっかりされていなかった。スペアキーを紛失したため部屋に入れず、掃除が出来なかったと言っていた。最終的に部屋を変えてくれたが、安全性に不安を感じた。設備も不安定で、扉が壊れたり、シャワーのお湯が出なくなったりした。
パングラオが好きで7回滞在しているが、隣のbe groundではどの滞在もとても良かった。もう2度とこのホテルは選びたくないです。良いスタッフさんがほとんどたが、悪過ぎるスタッフがいると台無してます。
I stayed for 4 night here. I was treated as a sheft pool towel by the lifeguard. I could rent and return towels to go diving for 3 days.But final day, suddenly I was demanded p100 in cash for deposit. Of course we have no cash for diving. I can’t understand why they registered my credit card for deposit. As the result they demanded the signature of contract for promises of no damage everything and release our rights when they damage our life and valuables. I really felt the worst. I didn’t rent towels.
And house keeping was out of service due to lost spare key. Finally they changed our room. But I really felt scared for safety.
Facility was unstable, the door was broken and hot shower stopped.
I love Panglao. I already came here 7 times. Neighbor hotel be ground resort was so nice at all my stay. I never chose blue water again. Most staff is good, but few staff was the worst.

It was a near perfect experience.
The hotel provides transport to and from the Panglao International Airport which is great and on time. The van was great and cool against the scorching and humid sun of Philippine summer.
They allowed us to check in ahead of the usual 3pm as a room was already available. We checked in on a Saturday.
The room was huge! We stayed in a Premier Deluxe. The door locks were old and was not working correctly but it got fixed. 2 double beds, 1 bath tub, shower and toilet. Toiletries were provided like bath gel, shampoo conditioner, soap, toothbrush, etc. Lots of mirrors and very “honeymoon worthy”..
Pools were huge, main pool and another pool by the restaurant and beach.
Now the path to the beach was a looongg walk. Its lined up with Bamboo so its very IG worthy.
Only 1 restaurant Aplaya which serves from 6am until 9pm. Breakfast buffet is from 6-10am daily
Baroto Bar is available but closes early from what we observed.
Beach front is small and usually used for weddings. Not really swim worthy as water is too shallow but calm on this part of the island.
Now comes the sad part. Their food and drinks are outrageously overpriced like 170php for a bottle of water (viva) on the bar / resto.
Daily breakfast buffet is ok but not worth 700php each person. Limited options and does not showcase the best of bohol.
Rooms around main pool are dated. In room safe is clunking so we did not use it.
There is plenty of flies at the restaurant while eating.
We booked a romantic dinner which cost 5k php for two. Because there was a wedding we had to settle for a manggahan venue which unfortunately had plenty of bugs we shared the night with.
Kudos to the staff who are all so friendly and accomodating. We even got to check out at 12nn instead of 11am. Although i think they are understaffed as housekeeping took a lot of time making rounds.
One way trip using the tri cab is 100php for short distances but bohol bee farm cost us 600php roundtrip.
PRO TIP: You can have lunch at Mist beside Molly Hotel just few minutes away. Have coffee at Bo’s Coffee besides the Korean Grocery at Cubemall near Alona Beach. You can walk but it is so HOT during summer and no walkways here!
If you dont like the bustling Boracay Beaches, Bohol is your best alternative.

Room Tip: Book a bohol countryside tour but i suggest a van or car to get past the heat and long travel times.

Bluewater Panglao has quite a nice layout room facing the big lagoon pool. Intensive choices of toiletries were provided.
A good spread buffer breakers but quality is just average.
Slightly far from Alona Beach- about 100-150 peso for a tricycle.
Beach is a bit rocky so not really suitable for swimming.
The staffs mainly friendly and helpful.

We stayed here for 5 nights, the hotel is fantastic and we had a really enjoyable stay overall. There were a few irritations, but on balance we had a great time. We stayed in a deluxe room and our room was so spacious with a nice balcony overlooking the pool, and the bathroom had a lovely big shower. The hotel supplied nice toiletries such as soaps and shampoo and some bottled water each day which was a nice touch. There was also a mini bar and snacks in the room if you wanted to purchase these.
One small criticism of the room was that there were very few drawers to store belongings, but this is a small point as we used the hangers provided and there were two drawers. We also liked that there was a safe to leave your belongings which was helpful and helped us relax a bit more.
We only ate in the restaurant once for breakfast and the food was good. However, we felt that the options for breakfast were a bit limited. We only wanted fruit / a pastry and perhaps a coffee and the menu didn’t cater for this; otherwise we would have frequented the restaurant more often.
The hotel has two nice pools which could do with a bit of maintenance as chunks of the paint were falling off on the pool floor. It was nice though to keep cool in the water and we enjoyed the pool and the staff at the pool bar gave great service and made some great cocktails/drinks. We really enjoyed snorkelling outside the hotel and saw some really cool fish. It was nice that the hotel offered complimentary paddle boarding and kayaking for 15 minutes per person each day.
The hotel is a 20 minute walk to Alona beach but we got a tuk tuk for 100P each way which was better; especially in the heat.
Some negative feedback was that we found it very noisy throughout the night and other guests seemed to have little appreciation for other guests resting / sleeping. People returning to their rooms were noisy and often spoke loudly and were slamming their room doors, and there were no signs reminding people to be respectful of noise levels.
At 4am we were woken almost every day by people talking loudly who were awake to catch early flights / leave early. The security staff were also talking loudly to guests and on their walkie talkies at this time, and there needs to be some training to staff on courtesy and respect to other guests who may be sleeping. I had to go out and ask the security man to be quiet on one occasion as he was shouting in a walkie talkie right outside our room at 4:30am waking us in the process, but despite this, he continued to make noise. Any noise outside rooms carries, and there needs to be more consideration here and to encourage guests and staff to speak quietly. Again it didn’t overlook our stay but if learning can be applied, this would be helpful out of consideration.

Was so great. Cool swimming pool, nice pool bar & restaurant, stunning garden, and kind people. I just wannna leave more days in this resort. If you are finding a private stay, Blue water is the answer.
