we moved out after two nights. True, the hotel is very cheap and the personnel is friendly. But the rooms are extremely small and there was a faint smell in the room, and a very strong smell in the bathroom that did not go away. So we did.
Chose this hotel because of location which didn't disappoint. Room was okay but no lift for going upstairs. Our luggage was carried up for us, thankfully but on leaving we had to struggle down the stairs as there is no lift. Breakfast is across the road and was pretty basic. We ate here the previous evening and the food was excellent and staff friendly and helpful so we expected a better breakfast. Staff in hotel were friendly.
Amazing location and when we first arrived it looked a beautiful quaint hotel in original Spanish mode but that was where it ended.
Sadly room smelt of smoke, bed was hard and uncomfortable. Everything used in the rooms was after its best sell by date.
Old TV SHOW. Cheapest toiletries and chip board furniture. The breakfast provided by the sister restaurant was awful. Sorry the hotel need to spend some money on it
Amazing location right on the border of the National Park Doñana. Our room view was amazing, watching flamengos and other birds eating in the lake. The staff is helpful and friendly. Breakfast is a bit basic but the coffeeis 5-star. If you do not mind staying in a hotel that is clean, but somewhat old-fashioned with an astonishing view, this is the place! The style of the hotel truly machesnthe western town like appearance of El Rocio.
We had a comfortable en suite room with a balcony that gave us a view over the lake that had emerged due to heavy rain. The building looked like a 19th century spaghetti Western hotel - complete with hitching posts for tourists horses! - but the staff were very friendly, even if their English was limited. In the cool large foyer was a comfortable sitting area but no bar. That was just across the sandy road in the hotel restaurant which provided simple, well-cooked classic meals such as fried red mullett and solomio served with salad. The desserts were slightly strange but tasty junckets or set chocolate treat. The wine available included a delicious but very reasonably priced Ribera del Duero. Breakfast was a simple but filling and tasty affair of cold meats, cheese, fruit, bread, cereal and very good coffee.
