We are so pleased we stayed at this great little place. We were welcomed by the owner and treated as friends,The room was lovely and had good air conditioning. The breakfast was excellent.A short walk takes you either into the tiny village of Tellaro or the other way to Lerici but you stay in a relaxing area away from the madness of the touristy Cinque Terre but within easy reach. The beach in Lerici was great and with good ferry links to The other pretty villages it is a perfect spot.

We spent here with my fiancée 4 amazing nights. Hotel is very clean and silent, located in very calm village. From the hotel you have amazing view for the sea. In front of the building is beautiful garden with sofas and chairs to enjoy the summer. You can also cool down by using external shower. In the price of room was included breakfast which was much better than the one we got in Rome. There is variety of ham and cheese, marmalade, Nutella etc. plus croissants and some cake. To this typical strong Italian coffee. It is also possible to take 3 different types of cereals. Access to 3 different beaches is up to 10 mins walk (public and private ones). In the neighborhood variety of restaurants and local shops. 10 mins by walk to the Tellaro old town which we found much more beautiful than famous Cinque Terre. Btw to Cinque Terre you can easily get from here by public transport by taking a local bus to La Spezia (bus stop in front of the hotel) and from there train. Total time was 1 hour to get out in Riomaggiore. Hotel owner is very friendly and helpful, can advise how to get to famous places and handles all the schedules of buses and boats. I recommend to book this place if you want to spend time in very calm area, relaxing in nature scenery and enjoying beautiful view.

We booked last minute flights to Pisa and were recommended to try Lerici as a seaside destination. Being on a budget and preferring B&Bs we booked into Villa Maria Grazia and were very happy we did! Walking up the path to the B&B, Stefano greeted us by name and offered to collect our bags from the rental car. We were offered a choice of rooms and plumped for room 4 on the first floor with sea and hillside view. The B&B is on the road between Lerici and Tollero, a tiny village with a historical centre, Its best to have a car, although a regular bus service links the two villages - it is possible to walk, about 3 kms along a twisting narrow road back to Lerici and 1.5km to Tollero. There are good bars and restaurants in both villages and lovely near by beaches to the B&B. Stefano and his family made us feel very welcome and really wanted to look after us, making sure we had a good relaxing stay with them. Rooms are airy, high ceilings, very clean if simple. There's a pleasant garden with chairs, sun umbrellas and loungers and the bar is on call to offer all sorts of refreshments. In the same building is a classy fish restaurant which is worth a visit if you have time - I enjoyed the delicious E35.00 tasting menu but had a to go for a walk after dinner before bedtime! The Italian breakfast is served in the restaurant (cereal, fruit, cakes, pastries etc) with Sefano offering to cook an English if we wanted that instead. We spent our time either on the near-by beaches or visiting Lerici and Porto Venere - it did rain on our last day as we were leaving which made me wonder what we would've done in poor weather but for us it was blue skies, sunshine, fun and warm warm Italian hospitality. Go and enjoy it!
