This is the 3rd time we have visited this site and we are never disappointed. Over the years lots have work has been carried out and has just added to the already fantastic holiday complex. Our children aged 13, 8 and 3 loved the pools, entertainment, bungee trampoline and especially the creperie (which they visited most days). The kids club had something for all ages, with also a great outside area for football, climbing frames etc. We also visited the onsite restaurant which was lovely. Great choice on the menu and the food was delicious. The van we stayed in was well equipped, clean and had lots of space, plus with the decking area and bbq included, this made for some great evenings after a fun filled day. All the staff at the park were very helpful and friendly, special thanks to Sally in the main reception and Monique heading up entertainment, great customer service and a credit to Siblu. They both went out of their way to make sure that we were happy with everything and enjoying our holiday. Can’t wait to return again.
Had a wonderful 4 weeks, again, at Les Charmettes. Great shows, both the singing and Dancing, thanks David and Emily. Monique’s entertainment team looked after us from morning excercise session , thanks Matthieu and Elie, right the way through to the evening. Patrick’s pool complex was perfect as ever and brilliant for our new grandson to crawl around in. Sally’s reception team brilliant as always, our replacement gas cylinders arrived before I got back to the mobile. Counting down to next years visit.
We stayed here for a few days with family that come here year after year. They spent 3 weeks here and we can see why. It’s a lovely site, all the kids seem to be having an amazing time! The pool area is so nice. We were pleasantly surprised and will definitely come back and spend more time here.
We have just returned from a great 2 week break at Les Charmettes. The campsite is great and very very clean. The staff are friendly, helpful and accommodating and the entertainment is great. The pool is cleaned every night and the bar area was clean and the staff very friendly.
The only negative we experienced was the smoking in the outside area of the bar and the entertainment area. We were 4 adults and 4 children under 10 and non smokers. We would often visit the bar after using the pool area and pick a table away from people smoking only for someone to sit down and light up a cigarette on the next table. It would have been nice to have areas for people to smoke as for non smokers it is horrible.
We have just got back from a week at Le Chammetes Holiday Village and what can we say a week is not just long enough. That saying when your having fun time flys & it sure did.
After staying at Bon As Plauge last year we kind of knew what to expect from a Siblu holiday but this exceeded our expectations in many ways.
Firstly check in was smooth, we arrived late but our key to our accodomation was waiting in reception.
When arriving our accodomation was great, clean and had everything we could of wanted including a great veranda where we consumed the welcome bottle of wine and ate most of meals.
A washing machine really came in handy too. The accodomation was quite secluded from the neighbours with hedges so felt more private from Bon as Plague. So was perfect for BBQs and relaxing in the garden.
We were quite near to the facalities which was ideal for us, with having 3 young children included in our party.
The kids club was suitable for just one of our children as they don't start until age 4, Joseph had cerbal palsey in his left leg which makes activities sometimes harder for him, the animation team were made aware of this, and went out there way to ensure Joseph was included in everything. They carried him on there backs from walks to the nature trail and when they did the carnival he got to ride in the truck which he enjoyed. I must admit day one I was dubious as the majority of the children were French & I was worried he would get lost within them but I had nothing to worry about. He was in great hands and very capable hands.
Shout outs to all the animation team in pirates kids club with special mentions to Emily, Monqiue and Jack there are others but I'm rubbish with names.
The entertainment in the evening was in both English and French which was great it was throughly enjoyed my all of us and far better then that at Bona As Plauge last year. Our faves were the 1920s show, the Movie Shows and the Vampire show. I loved the
fact that there was entertainment both inside and outside. If you want to get a good seat que up 10 mins early as they get busy.
The Foam party which was well put together was the highlight and loved by all including the teens we had with us on holiday.
The animation team is full of energy and quite talanted.
We ate at the restaurant twice and the food was amazing, really good quality. The service on the first night lacked but they remembered us when we went back the next day and were apologetic and first class.
The pool complex is where we spent our days mostly, easy to get a sunbed the pools were clean and managed with life gaurds. The pools were large and there were slides the boys
