Thanks to Sofi and Ofina I had a lovely stay I was greeted around 7pm (winter) by Sofi and was given a first level room that I found nice and clean. I really loved the scent on the body wash truly one of a kind. The next day Ofina made sure I got a nice breakfast and off to a good start. Nice hostel the staff was really great.

The hotel and restaurant staff were helpful but perhaps a little understaffed in the restaurant, with long waiting time for the food. Breakfast was basic and items were not restocked. The room was very nice, but strange with a glassed shower in the room, and not in the bathroom. The room was very hot due to the sunny weather, amplified by the beautiful adjacent glass-roofed atrium that accumulated the sun heat. Nice visual design, less functional so. There was no AC, not even a simple fan in the room, and we couldn't keep the window open due to the many mosquitos outside.

Stayed here for 2 nights in a recent business trip after a last minute booking. The hotel is well situated just a few minutes walk from the town centre and next door to a small park with a petting zoo.

The hotel staff spoke English so I had no problem booking in as I have an embarrassingly small understanding of German.

Rooms are quite large and well appointed. The double bed in my room was however two singles pushed together with the bed frame exposed down the middle. I know gives them more flexibility but would not be so good for couples visiting so worth asking the question when booking as there may be some true doubles available.

The ensuite shower room was great with no issues at all.

It was warm when we visited so I slept with the windows open and had no issues with road noise.

The restaurant was good. We both had fantastic steaks on our first night that really were excellent.

The breakfast was a generously supplied continental style buffet.

I would have given this 5 stars but they lose one for limiting the free wifi to 6 hours. This is a pet hate of mine.

Hoping to go back in a few weeks so I would definitely recommend to friends or family.

PROS: Just a few miles outside of Berlin, it's worth the trip--the price of the room is half that charged in the city, parking is free and secure, it is QUIET (about a block from the major highway), the rooms are clean and, for the most part, newly renovated, the beds are comfortable and the staff is very helpful. The real surprise was the restaurant. Although the furnishings in the restaurant badly need updating, the food and the service at the evening meal were simply wonderful. Breakfast was good and plentiful. I would certainly stay there again!
CONS: I had difficulty finding the hotel. I expected it (according to the address) to be next door to the Esso Station, but instead found it about a block down the road!

I found this hotel to be evry welcoming with some Englsih spoken at reception. My room was clean and perfect for a two night stay. One contributor has commented on the small TV - it was fine. The restaurant is pleasant with some good food at good prices. The hotel is bout 8 minutes walk from the railways station. Would recommend to others,
