Been traveled to Chanthaburi for years, normally I'd stayed in Maneechan resort as always thought there is one of the best hotel amongst Chanthaburi. For this time my local contact advised me to try Pimdara, coz there is the latest opened hotel in that province also pricing is lower than Maneechan resort. After my stayed I would like to report as:
Pros:
- Neat, tidy and clean
- Friendly attentive staff
- New bulilding in quiet surrounding
- Spacious balcony w/garden view
- Fairly pricing

Cons:
- Quite a distance from downtown, need selfdrive
- Narrow bedding in twin
- Limited tv channels
- Simple breakfasts & in room amentities

Although there is no swimming pool or other facilities in Pimdara but I liked its quiet surrounding with a fresh breeze of green. Away from the crowd or group tourists. Only 10 mins drive to town wouldn't bothering much, breakfast is not in buffet but it's taste good. Staff is friendly warm.
I would like to back there again on my next visit.

Moved here after a sleepless night in a downtown facility. Loved everything about the Pimdara, from the friendly welcome by staff who actually wanted to speak English, to the gorgeous room, to the public areas of the hotel, art-filled and endlessly charming.

There's nothing nearby, so you'll need a car. But for anyone with a car visiting Chanthaburi, I can't think of a better place to stay than the Pimdara.

This newly opened hotel is both modern hotel and an art gallery displaying exhibits of contemporary artworks. Every small details give the hotel a touch of style. Art-lovers will enjoy wandering thru this gallery hotel. They could match up all details, concept and idea with uniqueness of Chanthaburi.

Location is quite good.Room is big and cleanliness was up to standard. All staffs were helpful and friendly!
