Very old Hotel in centre of town.
Secure underground parking just around corner.
We didnt use restaurant as didn't open until 8.30pm
Breakfast was good.
Sleep quality was spoilt by the noise from the open air restaurant below our window , we could even hear the knives and forks being put down.
Chipped tiles in bathroom and bedroom also in the corridor outside

Centric building with garden and terrace, decorated with museum objects. Large and comfortable room. Homemade treatment and very professional. Restaurant with well-elaborated and well-presented dishes, but adapted to the needs if you want to eat "at home." We want to come back.

The hotel looks realy nice, the court yard, the hallways, the stairs, but the rooms are a bit shady. It has had its best times. The rooms are basic, bed ok, airco soso and leaking water on the bathroom ceiling which dripped down after a while. No fridge. Quite a few flies in the room.
Breakfast ok for most I guess, but our 'gluten free' consisted of a handful of corn flakes and we had to ask for milk or yoghurt. Maybe they eat it dry?
All in all a bit overprized for this region given what it offers.

The first time we saw this place we were staying at the Parador. We walked down the main street and saw this inviting hotel with tables set out in the garden and an interesting menu. This time we stayed here. We had a very friendly welcome from Alphonse, who put us in a back room as there was some sort of tatooists' convention making noise at the front later. Fortunately we never heard them, probably a combination of the position of the room and the wine. In any case, I would rather not hear from tattooists or see the 'work'they do on the naive bodies of people too young too realise that they are making a big mistake by having their wkin irrevocably blemished by the stains of filthy inks.

Anyway, we ate at the hotel in the rvening and for lunch the following day. All was of a high standard. Have the rice dish. Do. The garden tables were full on both occasions and the service was efficient and friendly. The prices are reasonable for the quality of food, the setting and the service.

We had breakfast both mornings, and while there is no breakfast in the world to compare with a good English breakfast (note to foreign visitors to England, eat breakfast in the north, preferably at a farmhouse. There are few if any good breakfasts in London), it wasn't bad. No real tea of course, it would be scented, I just know, but there was cold meats, cheese and bread. I won't go on about the idea of eating cake and croissants for breakfast in case I am accused of bias - but eating sweet things for breakfast? Come on, it isn't natural. Fried eggs, bacon, sausage, black pudding etc. Is it too much to ask for?

We did have breakfast on the terrace, which was a great setting.

Sorry, off on one again, but it is difficult at times. I thoroughly recommend this hotel. It also has lots of antiques if you like that sort of thing. We will be back. You should visit. Criticism? No plug for the bath, but the sink plug fittedupside down.no normal coat hangers to dry a wine stained dres - not mine! - but a corkscrew sorted that out. Problem with your room? Don't whinge, think laterally and have a good time.

Stayed for 1 night on the way to the pyrenees. The welcome was great, helpful and informative. Unfortunately the room didn't live upto expectations-one of the problems of having been in the business is that you can be critical!
The bed and furniture was fine, if not a bit jaded, but the bathroom had definitely seen better days. Unfortunately the room and bathroom were not very clean. We took the advice of Tripadvisor and went to Restaurant Pktus for dinner, (see seperate review), mainly because we didn't want a full blown evening meal. To reiterate- friendly welcome, could be cleaner.

Dear Mr. Glad that you like the reception that we dispense. although I disagree with your comment regarding cleanliness. It was the first time in the 140 year history of the establishment quie someone complains about cleanliness. However we will try to improve.
