Always a good stay at Home 2 Suites. (minus the Austin, TX downtown location). This hotel shares property with Tru by Hilton and you have access to both lobbies. They provide pool tables and lounge areas. Regular continental breakfast on one side and a larger variety on the other. Rooms are clean and have plenty of space. Staff is friendly and helpful. Vibrant colors in lobby. Would recommend.
Such a nice place! I ❤️the shampoo/conditioner/bath gel dispenser in the shower!!! A great improvement and environmentally friendly.
The hotel is attractively decorated.
The staff is friendly and helpful. You can eat breakfast Inside or outdoors. Many options for breakfast. The bed was comfy and the room was QUIET. We did not try the outdoor pool.
We have stayed there before and we will again. The hotel is consistently keeping things attractive and clean.
My husband and I stayed here for our trip for our 25th anniversary. It’s a nice hotel. When we arrived I had pick the room on the app but they gave me another room. It was to far for my husband to walk with his walker so I asked for a room closer to the elevator. The desk clerk said no problem and gave us a closer room. The breakfast are on both the home 2 suites side and the tru side. We ate at both of them but I did like the variety at the home 2 suite side better. Pool was very clean. Sometimes very busy with families. We only had two problems when we stayed. The people above us sounded like they were playing a basketball in the room. It was so loud we heard it over the tv. We didn’t complain about them and they quieted down. We also had the toilet seat break. I ask for it to be fixed and the clerk said that she put it in. But they never showed up. So we still had a broken seat. I told the Clerk when I was checking out that it was never fixed and the GM was nice enough to cut the last night price in half. It was a nice stay for the week. And not to far a drive to Nashville.
We stayed at Home2 Suites for four nights and it was an excellent experience. The thing that is a little odd is that Home2 shares a courtyard with Tru, another Hilton brand, and most people arriving were confused about which door to enter. Guests in either facility can use either lobby, make breakfast choices from either side, and share the pool and fitness center. The Home2 side was rarely staffed during our stay - nobody at the desk, nobody managing the frozen food case, nobody around. Not a huge problem (except for the frozen food case) because one just walks down the hall and around the corner to the Tru lobby. The Home2 lobby has couches and stocked bookshelves and quieter decor, while the Tru side has large graphics painted on the walls, and myriad games, including a full-sized pool table, along with plentiful seating, two soundproof booths for cell phone conversations, and two hanging chairs. The Tru lobby also has 24-hour coffee and tea available, and a well-stocked "store" for snacks and beverages, including wine and beer.
There is even a very nice laundry room, something most hotels do not offer.
The fitness center is big enough, clean, and holds the basics for those who want to move after sitting in a car for hours. The pool is outdoor and saline, with chairs and tables around it. In the front courtyard areas, there are several seating areas and a fire pit which is operated at night. A nice touch, and even in 90 degree weather a nice feature.
Our room was quite large. The bed was wonderful, the sheets great, and there is a love seat that apparently is a pull-out couch. There was a hassock, a large work area, and one desk chair. The tv screen is large. The bathroom was clean and fine (no tub just a walk in shower) (although we had to have our shower, which leaked, repaired).
The kitchenette area has a full sized refrigerator, a microwave, dishes and utensils but no cooking surface or oven, and a coffee maker.
Breakfast choices include pre-made omelettes on the Home 2 side, and on the Tru side, along with some fruit, and very good scrambled eggs (without that fake egg taste), is oatmeal, waffle makers, lots of toppings, cereal, Greek yogurt and juice, and quite good donuts.
We would definitely stay here again. It's a newer hotel and in very good shape, compared to some of the other, older hotels in Murfreesboro, and is well maintained.
A wonderful stay! Great staff!!!
The bed was oh, so right! This is after staying at other hotels along our way.
The kitchen was supplied, the shower had ample shampoo, body wash and conditioner. Previously, 2 of us shared .7 ounces of shampoo and conditioner out of a hard plastic bottle...
The couch was comfy with tables that move, a great ottoman- plenty of lighting and plug ins. It also has a move about desk and comfortable desk chair.
The rooms were quiet and you didn’t hear the people in the floor above you.
The coffee bar was great, wonderful work- out room, laundry and the breakfast had something for everyone to choose from.
They also sell beer, wine, chips and snacks.
Ample parking in a safe part of the city. We did not check out the pool area.
We would definitely return! This was a wonderful resting stop!!! 😁
