We are further off the main roads here and english is a challenge for many. Google translate got us through the introductions and settled into a nice room overlooking the main square of the town. Pepe Alvarez and his wife went out of their way to help us and their cousin Michael, who has great english, took us under his wing and toured us about with a bit of the history of the town thrown in. We had a very good stay here. It is easy to find and close to the main attractions of the town.

Nothing but praise for this establishment. Great value, warm hospitality and handy sitution in the heart of the villages. Our room faced north and we had great views of the mountains and village from our balcony.

Bedroom very clean, comfortable beds, plenty of hot water and a bath! This is a rural hotel which gives value for money. By accident we arrived at the start of the livestock festival, so we had three nights of noisy Spanish festivity, but earplugs sorted this. The couple who run this hotel are extremely friendly and any language barriers were overcome with sign language.
We stayed for 5 nights following 5 nights in Pampaneira, to walk using Walk! The Alpujarras (Discovery Walking Guides). Six more lovely walks were completed. This hotel was a good base for these more eastern walks.
Highly recommend at a marvelous time of year.

Nice and friendly place. Very clean and risk for basically any needs. Unaided for a room with a bee and terrace to enjoy the morning better. And I was not disappointed for this price.

However, I tried for my first time to book a room through tripadvisor and was forwarded to other sites. Now I don't want to give away credit card details so I didn't use this feature.

I fixed that reservation easily myself.

My search was for ONE specific night only over a week AGO. So why do you have to send me multiple mails after that spamming about prices for that hotel??!

As I see it's not a customer friendly approach. The opposite.

You should change your parameters settings!

If it's a check for one specific night, this person will very very unlikely be interested in staying there for ONE night at other dates. At least not get spammed about it. Build in other criterias in your system before you spam us.

Hence, I shall never ever try that with your app again.

And finally, you probably won't post my experience. But if not I'll post in many other forums for people to know on beforehand to stay away from harassments.

I see a few bad reviews but in my experience it was good value, clean and staff were helpful. I had a single room with en suite shower room with a verandah overlooking square with views of mountains and village.
There is a bar and restaurant downstairs. The shop next door had best value goods as I compared prices with others.
The bus stop was literally 30 seconds walk away. Great when you are lugging cases about.
It is noisy there, to be expected for the location but earplugs helped reduce noise. After midnight it was quiet and everyone seemed to get up late in mornings.
They made me a sandwich for my last day as I had to miss breakfast. My bus was for 6.15am to Orgiva so although I had booked breakfast (toast, butter, jams, pastry, yoghurt, fresh squeezed orange juice and coffee) it was too early for me to eat it.
Hope this helps.
