The reason for this being such a wonderful place to stay is Pascal himself, who does not hesitate to attend to your every need. Les Carmes has the feeling of being very charming, peaceful and boutique however it is actually spread over a huge sprawling area of countryside. The house is quaint, the decor beautiful, the rooms comfortable, the swimming pool a good temperature. Breakfast is continental and very nice with good coffee. The minibar is well stocked with a good selection of soft drinks and wines. The only two suggestions I would make: (1) Remove the exercise bikes from the pool, nobody uses them and it is more pleasant without. (2) Possibly to add some snack options to the minibar like pretzels or crisps. Thank you Pascal for a fantastic stay!

My very warm friends from Domaine des Carmes & Spa, Thank you for your lovely message, our portal will always be wide open so that you can discover and re-discover our region with exceptional heritage. Thank you for your comments. For bikes, you've probably come when people do use them, aquabike in France is a very popular sport. You can among other things move them in the pool, they are on wheels. For snacks, we have done it in the past, but no one consumes them. It is very rare for people to be at lunchtime by the pool. They take the opportunity to visit our wonderful region and taste the flavours of Provence. I totally understand, you who did not have a vehicle but we could have adapted and served you with pleasure, if you had asked us. Provencal friendships, Pascal and his team

What a fantastic place! This place is quintessential Provence- very charming, romantic and full of history. When I booked this hotel I planned only to spend nights there while visiting Luberon village but we ended up spending much more time just hanging out at the property. Our room and bathroom were huge and charming, breakfast was good and pool very nice. Pascal was very kind, he offered itinerary to explore area and recommended restaurants - all spots on. There is wonderful wine reception in the evening to meet other guests what create very nice friendly atmosphere. We had great time and I highly recommend the place!

Beautiful building and a friendly welcome, nice wine and a great swimming pool. Very comfortable room, impeccably clean. Charming service and a lovely breakfast.
Only serves food in the evening in the summer season but they are happy to book a restaurant for you in the nearby town.

What an amazing property! The pictures really do not capture how beautiful this estate really is, if you can imagine that. From the moment we entered the gate lined with lavender, we knew this was going to be an outstanding experience. Our suite was very roomy and the shower was huge! We were traveling with our two young granddaughters and had plenty of room to spread out. Our host was such a kind and considerate man, even serving us breakfast himself when we overslept. The pool was awesome on those long scorching hot days. Each evening everyone gathered outside and toasted to a beautiful day in Provence while sharing their experiences. I’m so thankful that we did not choose to stay in town in a small hotel room. Le Domaine des Carmes is what you dream of when you think about Provence!

My very warm friends from the Domaine des Carmes & Spa, Thank you for this lovely message that fills my heart with happiness, our home would not be so fabulous if guests like you will not stay in our beautiful Provençal priory. We hope to welcome you a second time! Provence is full of treasures you haven't yet discovered: grandiose and idyllic landscapes and an exceptional cultural heritage: Roman remains, perched villages, bastides or fortified castles... Provencal friendships, Pascal and his team

Charmed by the pictures we have booked for one night ...

Time in there were a special moment in time, quiet, peaceful, the garden, the swimming pool, the bedroom and the bathroom, ... so charming ...

The breakfast ... amazing in the garden !

The « aperitif » ... so cool to discuss all together from every countries, with local wine glasses in our hands :-)

Pascal, the landlord, makes you feel at ease, from the welcoming to the end of your stay.
He helps you and always in a very sympathetic way, you feel that he wants to make your stay at its best !

Now, back home to Bordeaux, we regret only one thing ... not to have booked more than one night in this quiet and peaceful place ...

Thank you Pascal !

See you :-)
