It's a real farm with a sweet family that is extremely kind. There are 2 bedrooms, outside there are few nice animals and space for kids. The landlady was really kind, she prepared the breakfast for us at 6AM. The breakfast is reach and tasty. It's one of the most amazing place I've been in my life. Great experience!
We stayed in the apartment. It has two bedrooms, two toilets, large kitchen area with table that fits comfortably 6 people and big terrace with fantastic views with table for four. What else can you wish for? But wait! There is more!
The kitchen is decent. It has oven and small dishwasher. No microwave and small fridge. Good dishes/pots and pans selection.
The farm is one of three hauses in the valley surrounded by meadows and forrests. As it is at the end of the road so it gets hardly any traffic.
In front of the house are few tables / benches / chairs seating options so you can eat outside. There is wonderfull play area for kids. The owners family has two kids 2yo and 4 yo so they have fabtastic toy selection. Think kids tractors of all possible kinds!
The animals including bunnies and kats was also great attraction for our daughter.
Every morning you get their own fresh milk and their eggs are definitely coming from happy chickens:-)
The whole family was very nice and wellcoming.
We would definitely love to come back!
This is a large, modernized farmhouse that offers comfortable lodging, delightful breakfasts, and a welcoming, friendly atmosphere. It is located on a small road leading off the 158, the main highway between Salzburg and Bad Ischl. The nearby town, Fuschl am See, is a popular resort town in the Lake District east of Salzburg. There are a number of reasonably-priced restaurants and some shopping in the town, which is served by PostBus from Salzburg and Bad Ischl. However, the use of an automobile is almost certainly a necessity to fully explore the area. The B&B is about 25 km. E of Salzburg.
The lodging price is very reasonable for the Salzburg area, with a single room going for €30 or less. The rooms are large and clean, with en-suite facilities. There are superb views of the surrounding fields, hills, and forests. The owners, Agnes and Josef, and their family have operated the guesthouse for about sixty years.
For those wishing a quiet stay in a location away from the hustle and bustle of the city, this is ideal. I plan to return again, with my family, in future years.
