The beds are beyond firm with pillows that are very old, lumpy and even had holes in it. The bathroom was dirty with hair in the bathroom and on the floor. The bathroom light did not work. The breakfast is not restocked so you get what is left. I went about 830 and there was 1 yogurt a few mini bagels, bread and dry cereal for the milk was gone. The juice is mostly water.
Check in was fine but clerk told me pool hrs but not where it was. Was not in view from my end. I noticed a fence at the other end so assuming thats were it was. Overall i would pass this one. Pay same or a few more $ for better.
Excellent facility, very clean, nice pool, adjoins escellent restaurant. Near downtown Richland, Federal Building. Lots of parking. 2 blocks from large parks, including the several mile long one adjoining the Columbia River. Also close proximity to Columbia Point shopping and golf.
It's a Days Inn not a 5 star resort. I rate it in the cheap and cheerful category:
- bed was comfortable enough
- shower/bath had sufficient hot water and pressure
- WiFi worked (though it took a bit of wrangling and had to DIY the tech side)
- A/C worked
- TV worked
Bonus - it was nice and sunny and there was time to just hang out by the pool. The pool is not heated but was warm enough once you got in.
The breakfast area is also what you'd expect - frozen waffles, cold cereal, juice, coffee, yogurt and bananas.
The beds are as hard as a rock. The Wifi didn't work, the TV remote didn't work. The rooms smell stale. The shower is not for anyone over 5ft. The pool was ok, and the breakfast was ok. I would not recommend staying here. A No Tell Motel would be a better choice.
Old dated rooms, the HARDEST beds. They ran out of hot water and, the breakfast was mini bagels and frozen waffles. The carpets were old and very gross. We also had spiders in our room. And the pool was so cold the kids wouldn't even try to swim. For the price it was decent if you don't plan to eat breakfast there or get much sleep.
