I had a room booked days in advance but when I got there, they said no rooms were available. I had a reservation number but they had probably gotten more money from someone else. Be careful if you book here. You may not have a room when you get there. I'm hoping they didn't charge my card!

If you're traveling from Bryce area to Great Basin NP then Milford is the best stopover point because there is literally nothing in Baker, NV. It's located near the San Francisco mountains and there is more to do locally than I would have guessed. You can stay in Beaver on I-15 but you'll pay a lot more. This motel is one block off the main drag; it was challenging to find and my GPS was off. First, the exterior of the Hudson Inn is arguably the ugliest I've stayed at in North America. It is an older motel (rust-colored carpet a bit hideous), but has undergone significant renovations recently since owner David (nice guy) took over and it is clean. It has large HD TV with tons of channels, modern bathroom with large rain shower head, energy efficient light bulbs, large refrigerator/microwave, carport, and connected to Station Restaurant who will actually deliver to your room. The only negative I found was the old and not very cold air conditioning (I like it wicked cold). I would expect more upgrades to happen in the future. Definitely the place to stay in/near Milford. Thanks for a great stay David!

I had to stay here for several weeks. It was very quiet even though i was right next to a moderately busy restaurant next door. Large flat screen television with tons of channels. The thing I am most happy about is the consistently hot shower. It didnt matter who else is showering or using water, the shower was always the same temperature I set it at. They saved the room for me up to the day before renewing for a week even though there was a large waiting list. Very convenient restaurant right next door. My parking space was always waiting for me right in front of my room. The staff was very nice and helpful. Coffee in the room is actually drinkable. I cant even drink the room coffee in the Hampton Inn stays I have recently had. I think that for the low price of the rooms, it is nothing less than 5 stars. If they charged average rates for rooms of this caliber, I would change the rating. I would expect to pay much more for this room. Thanks Hudson!!!

Had a comfortable stay at the Hudson Inn, clean rooms, all the utilities worked, and towels were very nice. The breakfast did the job and management were very helpful in sorting out a problem I had. Also great bonus was fast wifi with strong signal in each room.
