Nice clean room, very quiet. We were tired and it was the most peaceful area we could find. We enjoyed our stay, it was just one night, but we got plenty of rest. This is my 2nd time staying at this hotel chain, and so far, I have truly enjoyed it.

We booked the room through ABVI and informed them that we were just round the corner and would like to check in early (11.00 am) the reservation rep explained if there was rooms available it would not be a problem, but was she wrong. They wanted to charge us extra. So we declined , was upset as we have never had any issues with other ABVI. From the outside it looked pretty decent but we took the handicap room and was not happy with it. No hot water , room was bare as in no lamps/ lights / no plug ins for charger/ electric outlet . Their Breakfast was a joke. Good thing all we needed it for was to sleep and left by 8.30 am. I would NOT recommend this ABVI and would definitely go back to the usual ABVI we stay at when in San Benito as they were super friendly and very nice.NOT THIS ONE!

I'm tired if being gouged for horrible motels in Brownsville. I guess Brownsville gets away with gouging people because its closer to beach??? I have as so frustrated being charged over $80 for a run down Mtl 6 that I clicked on truvago to find someplace else, even if I had to drive a little out if my way. I found this little gem off the beaten path... I am soooo impressed with the personal service and attentive staff. The price is budget worthy. Great ac! Most budget places have horrible ac and in the Rio grande valley on July, this place has been excellent in all areas. Really nice pool, good breakfast, fridge and microwave, coffee and hairdryer in room. Dog friendly, people friendly, etc!!! Can't say enough good things.. Make the trip, drive the extra 15 miles to San Benito. Well worth the money! It's quiet, there's a great pizza joint right in front of hotel and a big field in the back to walk your doggie... Americas best value had let me down in the past, but these folks at this location have made this chain a place I will come back to.. THIS location!! The other Americas best value, need to come see what these folks gave done with the hotel... Excellent!!! I'll be back!

We had no idea what to expect. We found a clean room, a courteous desk clerk, free Wi-Fi and a light breakfast at a low price.
The iron was missing but we had a fridge.
Priced right for a quick one night stay.
