A Marriot property, this hotel is convenient to crews traveling into DFW. Also great for flight crews going to training at either CAE or FSI. Its a short drive (15-20) minutes in a nice area and close to several restaurants and fast food establishments. Rooms are clean, they provide the usual breakfast and have a well provisioned snack bar. Laundry room, gym and pool are available as well. Connected to the Courtyard Marriot as well. Rates were mid range $150ish
Town place was nice, light and cheery looking while the dual branded Courtyard had really dark dreary hallways. Overall, the hotel staff was helpful but one female manager had a over bearing let me tell you the way it is attitude.
Rooms were spacious but beds were very hard. Bedrooms had ac units that blow in your face all night (no central ac). For a newer property, the rooms looked outdated.
The pool area looked really nice with a zero entry pool. Breakfast was doable. It could use some more variety. Area is nestled in woods and quiet.
This hotel is fairly new since I last visited this area back in 2013. I'm guessing its about 3 years old. It is centrally located the DFW area and minutes away from my work and airport.
The staff is super friendly. I normally work thru the night and sleep during the day. I had to remind them to clean my room every now and then and they try their best to accommodate with my schedule.
The free breakfast is pretty good but kinda got tired of sausage patties. Can we get some bacon please? LOL
The workout area was the best one I visited so far. Plenty of room and machines to go around for about 6-10 people.
The pool is well maintained and pretty big.
The laundry facility have a lot of machines. 4 Washer and 4 dryer, $2 per load.
You share these facility with Courtyard attached to the other wing of the hotel.
My daughter chose this hotel for a last minute getaway over Memorial Day weekend. We were very pleased. Nice location. Easy to get into and out of. Located near freeways going into Dallas. The room was large. Spotless. Maids were friendly and ready, willing, and able to make sure our towels were well supplied.
Rachel, the evening receptionist, was extremely helpful with recommendation for places to eat.
All of the staff were friendly.
Spent time at the pool three days running. Although the pool is shared with the Courtyard, and was full the first night, the other times we had the pool pretty much to ourselves.
They serve a hot breakfast seven days a week. It is one step above a continental breakfast. They do serve sausage - vegetarian, turkey, and pork - no bacon though. Eggs scrambled, fried (hard), or cold boiled. The usual waffles but with strawberries and chocolate chips.
We found this hotel very nice and will stay there again if we return to Dallas.
This hotel is combined with the Courtyard Marriott. They share all amenities. So the pool area was very crowded. The pool was great but no spa. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite and it was very small and only had 1 bathroom which was very disappointing for the price. Room was clean and guest services was very friendly. I just expected better for the money.
