Enjoyed a Post Christmas holiday weekend in Nashville. This Hampton was a good location for us. A bit far to walk to the action of Broadway, but a close / quick Uber ride. Hotel was great. Always fresh hot coffee ready. The breakfast crew provided attentive service. Tv had some issues, but they fixed during stay, and we weren’t there to watch tv so all good. Looks like they have an outdoor pool in season.

Four of us friends met here for a girls weekend and were unpleasantly surprised at the hotel prices in Nashville! However, we were very pleased with this Hampton, in spite of it being more expensive than the usual Hampton price. Location was great, easy to get to with secure and plentiful parking. We had a 15 minute ride to the Broadway hotspots. Room was clean, beds were comfy. Our room looked out over the pool which looked great (too cold in November though!) The staff gave us good dinner recommendations (Martin's BBQ) and assured us it was a safe area for walking at night. The happy man attending to breakfast in the mornings made us smile. Great stay.

Less street noise, bigger rooms, and a better pool than the other Vanderbilt Hampton.

Pros:
Huge, clean pool with plenty of seating

Excellent Hampton breakfast

Large room for a Hampton

Cons:
Loud Georgia football fans poolside blasting music for hours

Loud HVAC

Mattress seemed worn out (one side noticeably sunk down)

We like to stay at Hampton Inns, because of the consistent quality, and the comfy beds. This location was exceptional.

Check-in was quick, and we had a one bedroom suite on the third floor. It was huge, and perfect for our five nights there.

Kitchen had a table with two chairs, full size fridge, dishwasher, stove top, and a few dishes. Living room had a gigantic couch with chaise lounge at one end, plus a desk, and a dresser with a TV. Two people can easily stretch out on the couch. Bedroom was enormous, with two beds, dresser, another TV and a closet. In between the bathroom and bedroom there is a huge area with a sink, drawers, etc. which can be closed off from the living room.

Location was perfect for getting downtown (less than a 10 minute drive), or to the highway. There is a yummy bbq restaurant across the street. Nashville has a lot of scooters and bikes for rent, so you could easily take one of those downtown instead of driving.

Parking lot has a gate across the side entrance at night, so use the front entrance at night. It felt very secure.

The pool was huge, with lots of loungers, tables and chairs, etc. It’s a great place to spend a relaxing afternoon.

Breakfast was good, and had a lot of variety. The breakfast sitting area was huge, but we always got take out to eat in the room.

Overall, I would give it more than 5 stars, if I could!
