Beautiful exceptionally clean and tidy small park. Mainly permanent residents as far as I could see, didn’t see any camp sites for tents or camper-vans, but there may be some. Lovely cabins, five Star I’d say with modern fittings and extremely well thought out and comfy. A new pool and camp kitchen being put in which will be lovely when finished. Five mins from a beautiful beach. Lovely staff and fantastic customer service all round. Pet friendly cabins too which is wonderful.

Warm and friendly welcome. Well maintained, large grassy sites. Amenities were kept clean. Perfect holiday! Will be staying again. Children loved the games room and the pool. I liked the fact that the pool had a shade sail. Loved the security of the boom gate too.

Love coming here. Been to stay here many times now. Just got home from a week stay for xmas / new year. Sites are always grassy amd green. So quiet at night. Best amenities ive been to because they are all ensuites. Close to town but far enough away so its quiet. Awesome 4x4n on the beach. Friendly park managers. Pet friendly.

My wife and I were doing the Sydney to Brisbane return trip. I had decided that 300Km per day was comfortable for me as I am in my late 60's and I had tried 450Km per day on the downward leg and found that I was nearing my limit on both legs, mine as well as the journey's.

Hamilton is a small coastal town who's main attraction is the Crowdy Head lighthouse and the views from it.

I chose a cabin in the Big 4 Caravan Park. Reception were very nice and we received a key which had an activator to open the boom gate. All that worked well. Our cabin was easy to find and had its own little parking area available which you could access more easily by backing in.

On opening the door we found a clean, but rather dated cabin. There was a table and two chairs, a very small double bed with very little room either side, a double bunk a kitchen and a bathroom.

the bed was comfortable but a little on the short side. I am 165cm tall and my feet were touching the ends, so a six footer would have his feet hanging out all night. The cabin had aircon, but the promised wi-fi was a fleeting dream. the shower cubicle was a little small, but the water temperature and pressure were excellent.

Between the double bunks and the bathroom door was a sink with a mirror.

There was a TV, but it only had free to air stations and the chairs were really too uncomfortable to sit and watch for any length of time.

The kitchen was well equipped with a microwave, cook-top and toaster and lots of kitchen utensils.

There was a nice outdoor seating area and the park had a pool but as it was early spring, we didn't try either.

All up, if you were looking for a nice base to just sleep at and your expectations were not to high, this would do for a small family, especially in summer.

Hello Rob, thank you for leaving such a detailed review on your recent stay. Your cabin description is of the economy studio cabin - our most economical option, as you mentioned - great for those on a budget or for a short stay. Hopefully we can welcome you back again for a longer stay and you have the chance to enjoy one of our superior or executive options. With queen and king size bed options, you will have more than enough leg room to stretch your legs. Our executive Villas are less than twelve months old and have full sized three and two seater lounge suites, full kitchen (including dishwasher), separate bathroom and toilet, and a generous sized gated balcony with your very own private weber bbq. We'd love to get you back to experience the full range of what we and Harrington has to offer.
