Was a little disappointed with the quality of the resort. They had nothing to offer for activities-everything closed. The room was clean and comfortable for the 2 of us. The thru the wall htg/clg unit was noisey in the bedroom. Nothing they could do-maint. man said they all were like this. Had to shut the unit off when going to bed.

We spent 4 nights here and absolutely loved the area. Check in was very pleasant and the clerk was very helpful by giving me a lot of detailed info about the area and things to do. Our 1 bedroom unit was very nice and comfortable on the first floor with a patio. On the first night we tried to get a pizza delivered and came up with zilch. The local pizzerias either were closed or didn't answer their phones or would not deliver. We wound up driving to the grocery store to grab something to cook.
On Friday people checked into the room above us and things changed just a bit with noise level, especially during the night. We pretty much heard everything going on upstairs (they may or may not have been doing jumping jacks) and it made us fearful about our noise level. Other than that the unit was clean but could also have used some quick cosmetic fixes, particularly the bathroom heating unit which looked disgusting. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed.
Most of the amenities on site were closed due to Covid except for the game room. We thoroughly enjoyed the area. Across the street is a nice lake walking path and we visiting Three Hammer's Winery which was 15 minutes away. We also hiked the area trails and rode our bikes 20+ miles on the Lakawanna Heritage Trail which was a 40 minute drive from the hotel. Would most definitely return to this resort and highly recommend the area for outdoor enthusiasts.

We went for a long weekend at the end of August and had a wonderful time. The room with a lake view was both beautiful and comfortable. Restaurants in the area were exceptional - especially Ravyn & Robyn's Food & Wine.

Room sufficient had Rm 103, lakeside. Full kitchen, LR and BR, bath was clean. Lovely view, easy to get to pool. Game room / pool closes WAY to early- 8pm, and all games cost extra money. .25 for a ping pong ball, not sure how much pool, foosball were. Very outdated but fun nonetheless. Indoor pool and gym are offsite . Tennis court is ok to play on, but not kept up. No housekeeping and strict rules for clean up, etc. Stripping bed at end of stay and actually taking trash to dumpster , really!! Also, first day could get wifi, but after that I couldn't .. timeshare info didn't even offer the wifi information, had to call front desk and it didn't appear on my phones as an available wifi , so don't depend on google !

I bring a boat to Tanglewood which is on Lake Wallenpaupack. They provide a boat slip for free which is very convenient to access. The units are spacious and well equipped and maintained. Very suitable for a family. We stayed this year for 4 weeks, first in a 1 bedroom and the 4th week in a 2 bedroom. In this year of Covid, the town of Hawley was open for business including the restaurants for indoor dining.

Questions & answers about the rooms

If you stay at the main lodge, there is plenty of room for leaving your boat. The public ramp is about 2 miles away and is very roomy and convenient. There are several private marinas where you can launch for a fee. If you tell them you have a boat in advance, you can get a boat dock free of charge at both the lodge and at the lakeside section.

To my knowledge the condos are one bedroom condos. The living room has a sofa bed. Can accommodate four adults. You would have to get more than one condo. We had one condo for us and one for our married kids and their two kids. I would call them.

There's a water park and amusement park nearby that those ages would enjoy. The lake is great for fishing. Bushkill Falls is a nice day trip. The outlet mall if they're girls who like to shop. The actual resort doesn't have much to offer teens. Our neighbors last visit brought a videogame system and blasted it 24/7. Needless to say it caused drama and they left after two nights. Sad that the teens couldn't find anything to do but maybe the mistake was bringing electronics. We enjoy geocaching. A wonderful thing for a group outing. Hope you enjoy your stay.
