This was our second time to Anne’s. There has been many upgrades around the grounds since we stayed back in 2018. But first I must comment on their processes during the world pandemic of Covid-19, they were so great. Everything is well thought out there. Keeping contact to the very minimal, but just a phone call away if you need them. We didn’t leave home to even grocery shop during the worst of the time in Nova Scotia, so to say we were a little nervous about renting a cabin for 4 nights would be an understatement. It was so clean. I wasn’t worried at all. They had limits in all the public areas for the amount of people. We stayed in cabin #5, with a private hot tub, again it was very clean. The cabin is a 3 bedroom, and 2 bath. The main bathroom is gorgeous, the skylight is such a great idea. So much light in there. All the beds were great, at least the king was lol but no one else complained. I never sleep well when we are away from home and I slept great. The pullout was clean also. Lots of items in the kitchen. The one thing I might add would be a mixing bowl, but we made due. The pool was great. The kids loved it. They even have life jackets there for the kids in case you forget yours. The cabins are nicely spaced and even though there was a cabin right behind me, and right beside me, I never heard a thing. The laundry building is redone and free! You never see that lol The games building has so much to offer. On a hot summers day it was nice to get out of the sun for a while for the kids to play some games.

The only things partly negative I could say is that in cabin #5 there is a jet tub but the water ran so slow that it took a very long time to even reach the jet. Well over 30 minutes. In this particular cabin the AC unit is right on the deck. So sitting on the deck while the AC was on was too loud. But we just turned it off. The cabin never did get overly hot and we were there during weather of feel like temps over 35°c.

All and all, those small complaints are nothing. In fact, we have already booked 3 days for the end of summer and invited family to tag along. They’re excited to check out their cabin after hearing us speak about it. We will definitely be back in 2021, too!

End of summer getaway for us and our adult children along with one 3 year old grandchild. A bit pricey for the quality of cottage IMO . We slept in the King bed of cottage #14 and it was extremely old/hard and the king pillows were well worn too. Queen and Twins were in much better shape. Bathrooms were fine. A/C was extremely loud ...and I think a heat pump would be more effective and economical not to mention quieter. Kitchen lacked a few essentials such as a baking pan of any sort to cook nuggets, pizza etc. Pool and hot tub were awesome but even so over $400 a night ($1675) for 4 seemed a bit high.

Beautiful spot, and recently renovated it seems with new linens and furniture.

Looks to be new owners this year but the service is just as wonderful of not better.

Pool is clean and always available and never too busy.

There is a games room for the kids which is perfect for teens, includes a large screen tv with video games.

Cottages were quiet and peaceful. This is our second time staying here and it’s always enjoyable.

We stayed here for four nights. Great home base to explore from.

Every night the kids could go to the pool or play in the games room while supper was being made.

BBQ on the deck, 5 min to the grocery store or gas.

Lots of room and two toilets.

Laundry available.

Our family stayed at Anne's Windy Poplars from July 1 to July 5.

We stayed in cabin #10 which was a 2 bedroom. Bedroom 1 had a king bed and bedroom 2 had a double & a single.

Bathroom has a whirlpool tub and a stand up shower. Water pressure is great and plenty of hot water.

Kitchen has a good size fridge, microwave, stove, coffeemaker, tea kettle, table & 5 chairs

Living room has a couch, chair, coffee & end tables and a propane fireplace.

There is a large deck on the front of the cottage, with a picnic table, 3 chairs & BBQ.

This cottage has a private hot tub which is located off to the side of the patio.

The property also has a pool, hot tub, sauna and a games room.

We loved our stay here. Everything was clean and in working condition.

The property is quiet, beautiful, and well taken care of. Love the fact that there are mature trees.

We will definitely be booking again for next summer.
