This is a gorgeous place! We turned up unexpectedly, having been caught out in Esperance in terrible weather, and, finding our road to Margaret River impassable because of floods, had to travel up to Coolgardie and then through the Wheatbelt to get back to the west coast.
Having decided to break the long journey in Merredin, we followed a recent recommendation for this B&B and were so glad we did! Really loved meeting John and Julie and very much enjoyed our extremely long chat with John, who has some interesting stories to tell - could have talked all night, really, but had to get some supper and sleep.
Wonderful comfortable room - furnished with the utmost care and attention to detail - super bed and bedding, amazing bathroom towels (cannot get anything like them in the UK in spite of doing searches the minute we got home), lovely china and glassware, big-screen TV, lots of food treats, peaceful setting away from main roads - I could go on and on.
There was no WiFi but we didn't really care as we were enjoying ourselves so much.
Thank you for a great time.
