At this modern “parador“ everything is about the views. Doesn’t matter where you are, either the bar, the restaurant or your room, you’ll have amazing views over the city or river Duero. Located in a high park in the outskirts of the city, it takes less than 15 minutes walking to the downtown .
Rooms are spacious and, as almost always is the case in Spain, spotless clean.
Staff is very helpful and polite, and the measures taken in order to prevent Covid transmission make you feel safe at any time.

This is a super modern hotel perched high on the hill overlooking the river. All the facilities were first class. Our accessible room was perfect for us and considerable thought has been given to the needs of disabled travellers.

The main thing about this parador is its location with views over the surrounding area, as we were only stopping one night and did not intend going sight seeing you can imagine our disappointment when our very nice superior room (a very nice room with separate sitting/TV area) had a distinctly inferior view of the Castle Park, or more precisely of trees 20m from our superior bedroom window. An email from the hotel a week earlier had told me we would have a view "to the Castle Park", not having visited before we did not know that this was limited to the trees 20m distant.
The hotel itself is modern, rooms are very nice, views from public areas are excellent, overall a very nice hotel.
Regrettably dinner was also a disappointment, having booked the Amigos Gastro Pack we were told we could only eat off a reduced menu, this was our third successive parador booked on this tariff and the first to impose such a restriction, generally this removed the regional dishes from our selection. Maybe we then selected badly but I can honestly say that this was the only unenjoyable meal we have had a parador.
Breakfast was to the usual parador standard but we did not feel like "Amigos" and it is unlikely that we will return.

We were returning to Soria after a three year absence. We noticed a few changes - all for the better - including terrace tables out on the front forecourt as you arrive. We enjoyed the Marmitia dinners both nights - the food was excellent. We also enjoyed the breakfasts especially the made to order omelette! Our room was amazing - a corner suite on the first floor - which we were not expecting! The reception staff were friendly and efficient and as Amigos we enjoyed a welcome drink on the terrace on arrival. I can’t wait to return - especially if we are lucky enough to get a suite again!

Food was of a low quality, breakfast was bad, most of the staff very good, room and location excellent. Improve the the quality of the food and they would have a 5 star hotel. Also they need to put more signs from the town centre to the hotel.
