I mailed 2 days ago but no reply. Do you provide pick up service from the port? I already booked the room, if you can reply my email that would be perfect.

Staying at Archontiko was a dream way to end our holiday in Greece. The location is perfect in the centre of the action of Fira but in a quiet street. I preferred Fira to Oia as it had a more relaxed vibe and better transport links than Oia. Words cannot describe the amazing view, one of the most breathtaking views I've ever seen. The villa itself was spotlessly clean and we'll appointed but the bed was a little hard, the owners were lovely and cleaned the villa each day to a very high standard. They were also able to organise a porta for our bags and transport to the airport.

Would most definitely stay here again, it was great value for money compared to many of the other more expensive places with a similar view. Good to note that you need a good level of mobility to stay here as you'll need to navigate some steep stairs on the street and inside the villa as the bedroom is upstairs.

We cannot say enough about our experience at this hotel. From start to finish it was absolutely amazing. First we were greeted by the owner at the top of the stairway (top of the street) whom insisted on carrying our luggage for us. This hotel has 3 units only. It was stunning. The bedroom is upstairs with a gorgeous view of the ocean and volcano. In the mornings donkeys would walk by and I would run to the window to see them pass by.
There is a semi private rooftop terrace that in my opinion was the nicest on the caldera. Six lounge chairs (just enough to accommodate the hotel guests). The view is completely unobstructed. We watched the sunsets there every night. The location is close to the action of Fira but just far enough away that we had no problems sleeping at night.
The owners are very kind and helpful. They called us our shuttles and helped organize where to meet them (the cliffside is pedestrian traffic only). I would recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to stay in the absolute best location, with amazing views and personalize service. I would not recommend staying here if you are loud and like tonsray up late as the owners live in the complex as well and that would be disrespectful.
I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We booked our stay at Archontiko based on a recommendation from a friend. It was absolutely the right choice as the hotel had an excellent location and the owner and manager were very helpful and accomodating. Our room was beautifully decorated with the most spectacular view of the Caldera. We would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone looking for affordable yet exceptional accomodation in Santorini!

We adored this place, the views from your private balcony were only blocked by occasional tourists stopping to take pictures. From sunrise through late night the panorama was full of classic and surprising images. We requested but never received a welcome email explaining how to find this hidden gem (you can't drive but it's not a bad walk once you park) yet when I mentioned this our host seemed genuinely surprised- apparently everyone else got one. Even this wasn't too disruptive. The famous donkey's of Santorini would run by every so often which only added to the color. Highly recommend this tiny jewel.

Our suite was 2 stories and the stairs were more like a ladder so if you have mobility issues you'll want to think twice although if you have mobility issues Santorini is not the place for you.

A family run boutique hotel with split levels- Living area on the ground and a bedroom upstairs. We loved our stay at this quaint property, the owner is a very nice and helpful man. This place was easily accessible to and from the main street as there is a lot of climbing and descending stairs in Santorini and this was not that bad at all. Close to the eating and shopping areas and a small supermarket nearby. Most importantly very close to the buses- which we found out is THE WAY to travel around here to and back from the nearby beaches and small towns. Definitely recommended!

Dear sir/madam. At first I would like to thank you very much for your reservation at Archontiko Santorini. As for your question I would like to inform you that there are several options of transportation from the port to our place. The first one is to use the local buses (not very often schedules). The bus ticket costs around 2 euro per person and the bust station is just next to the the area that the ship docks. If you choose this option you will stop at the end of the route, in Fira'a bus terminal. From there just follow the road up until you find a big white church. That is the Orthodox Cathedral church. In front of the church there are, a restaurant named Shpinx and a Hotel named Atlantis. Between the last two, there are some steps that drives you down. Follow that path and at the end of it you will find us on your right hand. (please check the attachment map as well). As a second option, you can take a taxi from the port. Inform the driver that you want to pick you up to Atlantis hotel in Fira (this is the end of the road for vehicles). Once you be there follow the same instruction as above. The cost of the taxi is around 20-30 euro per way. Finally, we can also arrange you a pick up service by minibus or taxi. The driver will wait for you at the port by holding a paper with your name and the hotel's name. That is the most easy way and you do not need to wait or searching. The cost for the above service is 25-28 euro per way and once you will be at the Atlantis Hotel we will be able to assist you as well. Please let us know if you wish any further assistance and do not hesitate to ask any further information. Warm regards and looking forward to welcome you! Fanis Roussos
