Stayed the night on my way to NS, great location just off the hwy. there is a SAQ and a Metro just across the road.

Friendly staff. Restaurant was take out only due to Covid. Room had poor lighting. No microwave but there was a mini fridge. The Bed was too soft which resulted in bad upper back pain the the morning.

Hotel room is super spacious and clean. Very minimal but has all you need. Can always use more outlets and USB ports. Restaurant was nice. I ordered short ribs pizza with maple caramelized onions. Yum. A little too sweet.
Hubby had the chicken Caesar salad. $21 seems pricey for a freaking salad! Very good though.
I would stay here again.

Just spent a few hours on my drive to St John's, nice friendly staff, the room was OK, a little tired, 3 light bulbs were burnt out. I stayed in the older Motel, the price was good at $85 including taxes. Small Bar and Restaurant, Breakfast is served at 6am to 10. $10 for Breakfast. A small indoor Pool, I had a swim, it was very cold. The Hotel 1212 is just off the Transcontinental Highway about 15km north of Edmundston, New Brunswick. For out of Province travelers, you are not allowed to stay overnight while traveling through NB.

After having a rough day, we decided to stay at the Hotel 1212, and I cannot begin to describe the hospitality we seen here today. After renting us the best room in the hotel, and helping us out with our tough situation, I can say that the owners of this hotel have gone so far above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcome that I instantly had to write a review. If you are in the area, you need to come here and stay! You will be nothing but thrilled and impressed with the amazing staff and beautiful rooms! Thank you so much for making us feel at home! I am forever grateful.

This little hotel was a lifesaver as we were stuck for a few days in Quebec due to a last minute change in travel plans due to work/covid. Hotel 1212 was a few minutes away from New Brunswick border and across the street was a Metro grocery store and Tim Hortons.

Due to covid the pool facilities were closed but the hotel was clean and had hand sanitizer at the main entrance and front desk. The hotel staff practiced proper social distancing and had masks on when needed.

The room was affordable and so clean it offered a mini fridge, tv and coffee machine. We had selected to stay in the recently renovated part of the hotel and were very pleased. The mattress was memory foam and new. It provided proper sleep and comfort.
The hotel was also on a near bike/walking path to the river and any outdoor nature lover would appreciate the tranquil trail.

Due to covid restaurants and take out options were limited as I have dietary restrictions but the owners and chef made a delicious spread and catered to my allergies and my partner is a picky eater and enjoyed everything. The food was delicious and always on time and fresh.

Most importantly their customer service was superb. My partner and I do not speak french and I had to get my prescription filled. The owners took care of everything for me. Organizing the prescription with the pharmacy and because I was out of province setting up my profile with them and picking it up. I can't thank the owners and the staff at Hotel 1212 enough for their help and would recommend staying at this hotel to anyone who wants a home away from home experience.

My partner and I are looking forward to making another visit once the world opens up and exploring the city of Degelis Quebec further.
