After an exhilarating day at Subic, we opted to stay in Subic for overnight. After checking 3 hotels, we finally settled with The Travelers Hotel.
Upon checking in, we were greeted with a smile and we were allowed to check the rooms first. The room is a little bit small with 2 double/queen size beds allowing at least 4 people in the room. The television is a 32 inch flat tv with cable ready. They also have Wi-fi in all rooms, free of charge. Breakfast is a little bit on the downside however, it comes free with your stay there. The bathroom is a little bit small though it is complete with amenities including sewing kit and comb. They also have a small pool (5ft) and gym for their guests.
The location is actually good. Across the hotel you will find one of the many duty free shops inside SBMA. The Baywalk is just 3 blocks away from the hotel, where you will find many restaurants and other activities such as Sunset viewing to name one.
The only bad comment i can give is that the walls are too thin and you can hear the sounds even from the upstairs function room. We were not able to sleep until 12mn when the noise died down from a party in their 2nd floor function area.
Anyhow, with the rate, service, location, amenities this hotel offer, i can say that this is still a steal.

We checked-in Dec 28, 2014. We called a week before for reservation, and we were happy they were not full yet...Camayan was and so was moonbay marina villas. Since our target was to watch the dolphins at Ocean Adventure, we just needed a place to stay. Our big problem was we were 5 adults and 2 kids and we were too many to occupy one room. Fortunately, Travelers Hotel's double deluxe room can have 5 adults with 500 for an extra bed, since there are 2 double beds already good for 4.
For almost 3, 900 for 5 adults, this is a good hotel, near Golden teahouse with a good serving of wanton noodles and great dimsum. Aircon was so cold...staff were accommodating but no complimentary coffee even if we requested repeatedly. There was an electric heater though....so just bring your own coffee and perhaps cups, since we requested numerous times...
There is a ref and room was spacious.
I prefer the ground floor rooms since there is no elevator. 2 small pools which is always cold for me... (this is the 3rd time we checked in here but I always back out in trying their pool).
For the double deluxe room, take note that they only provide 2 complimentary breakfast stubs and 2 towels so if there are four people in the room, you have to pay 60 per towel above the 2 towels. Additional bed comes with a towel.
Small hotel but very hygienic and practical, accommodating.
Will come back if we are in a tight budget and not needing the kitchen...

Its the first visit of my family in Subic. My first in terms of overnight stay.

I chose this hotel despite of comparing various hotels in the area due to mixed reviews & value for money with the booking we got thru booking.com.

We were impressed with the facade & its location. Yet, my impression with the staff was so disappointing.

We were not allowed for early check ins due to numerous guests. We understood yet the FO promised to call us once our rooms were ready which she didn't even bother to update.

We checked in at around 10pm & one of our keys was a manual key. We were not given instructions on where their dining room is as well as the breakfast time.

The rooms were big & spacious as well as their beds but their bathroom though clean but small. There was no slippers provided for their guests.

The pool is a bit bigger than a jacuzzi yet it will suffice if you really want a pool integrated into the hotel.

We recently booked a room in this hotel bec all the other hotels within Subic bay are already full.

1. Check in was a breeze.
2. Ample parking lot in front of the hotel.
3. Room is clean except for the molds in the bathroom. Has simple, minimalist vibe. Beddings are good.
4. All their rooms are for twin sharing (2 double beds) but they were able to move the beds together to accomodate us (we were with our 2 kids).
5. Room specs said there was supposed to be a hair dryer in the room but there was none.
6. Room has no view. No window. It can trigger claustrophobia but is good enough if you are out majority of the day and just want somewhere to sleep for the night.
7. The pool is cute but can be a bit crowded because it’s small.
8. We thought that their Breakfast buffet has very limited choices and not sulit for their asking price so we opted to go to the nearest convenience store. However, the rain is pouring hard when we check out so we decided to have our lunch at their restaurant. Food was great with big servings.
9. Most ( but not all) staff were courteous.

Overall, we did not encounter major problem during our stay in this hotel. We enjoyed our stay.

They have big beds enough for 2 kids and 2 adults. Their pool is small but one can enjoy having breakfast beside the hotel. Hence, the adults while enjoying their breakfast can simultaneously watch their kids swimming. Their breakfast is good and affordable. One thing that disappointed me was their water spout in the shower, its not fixed. it gives me an eerie feeling. Plus, its not advisable for senior citizens as they dont have an elevator.
