This is great value hotel for those with a mid-level budget. All the amenities of a nice hotel, without the hefty price tag.

Pros:
Great service
Hotel grade pillows, sheets and mattress
Strong internet
Strong water pressure in shower
Clean
Great in-room massage service (ask for Pauline!)
Two restaurants for in room dining

Cons:
Walls are thin and when neighboring guests are noisy, it is easily heard.

*was booked in a smoking room when i requested a non-smoking room. When i complained, they came to deoodorize the room again.

The first time I used the toilet still it contains urine, the bath tub drainage has stains, and inconvenient to use, we needed to call for a housekeeper to have the water to be drained. The sheets are not fresh the towels are gray, tried to use the minibar but it is full of dust. The tiles are not so clean. Housekeepers are easy to call but like what I've said the hotel room is dirty. Breakfast served tastes bland, not appealing and food serving seems to be for a 4y/o child, most servers are OJT students and didn't know what to do. Staffs are friendly but I will not definitely comeback again. It's not worth my money.

1.) Hotel Room - it is OKAY. the showers are starting to be full of calcium deposits now, and need to be replaced.

TV needs to be replaced with a new tv sets, WIFI is serviceable, but the access points and routers need to be updated with new, faster, and reliable ones.

2.) Staff - Staffs are quite friendly and they make do with what the management has given them.

3.) Food is not bad. not the best.

4.) Speaking of Food, they have a NO OUTSIDE FOOD policy. which means you cannot even bring liquor inside your room. even 5 star hotels dont have this crazy policy. I know they are trying to survive the pandemic, but keeping your guests feel unwelcomed is not one way of surviving.

5.) Parking. They have parking for about 10 cars outside their building, and more parking are available at the adjacent lot. the problem is the adjacent lot can feel not secure at night time. feels like it is so easy for people break your windows.

I hate to give a bad review during this pandemic especially since the livelihood of so many people are at stake here.. but.. i really hope the hotel fixes its attitude with regards to food. there is a way to stay profitable in terms of food and still allow people to bring food into the hotel.

I also hate how the review has become about the hotel policy instead of things like location and service.

location, btw, is not bad. you do need to ride a trishaw to get to the walking street/ downtown.

Responded Nov 3, 2021
Thank you for taking time reviewing our hotel. We are happy to know that you had a positive experience with us. We are gradually working on improvements, and have indeed renovated 30% of our inventory. Our parking is monitored by roving security and CCTV. With regards to the outside food policy, we are advising our guests before booking, and mentioning it on our website. We are also notifying guests who book using third party platforms, and offering full cancellation flexibility until the check-in process. Our guests are being informed and we verify with them acceptance of our policy before checking in. Thank you once again for reviewing our hotel, and we hope to welcome you again soon.

Staffs are nice and very accommodating, view at the Imo Bar is very pleasing and rates are affordable, also food taste nice. The room is spacious and can fit more than 1 person. Wifi is fine and you can watch many shows in the TV.

I was contemplating on booking a different hotel days before our planned vacation. Before booking, I checked other hotels with similar price ranges. I checked the comments for Prime Asia and most of the recent reviews are positive. I took the leap – three days two nights in and we enjoyed the stay! Prime Asia Hotel is located in the heart of everything. I say this because it's a walking distance to the jeepney terminal, Walking Street, and SM. The location is quiet for those who prefer solitude. We don't use a car to travel so having multiple travel options near the vicinity is a plus.

Once we walked in the hotel we were greeted with all smiles. The crew were courteous and the check-in process was fast. However the building only has one elevator. When we got into our room, we were surprised how spacious it was for its price. The view was lackluster though so don't bother opening the curtains.

Inside the room, floor was clean, bed is fixed, the washroom is great! The minibar choices was lacking though and pricey. Considering there is a 7-11 nearby they should at least price it cheaper. But that's already nitpicking. Our room was lacking slippers and laundry bags so we had to request for it.

They have a restaurant at the ground floor and a bar on the rooftop. We didn't try the restaurant since the bar already has great food. We almost didn't try other restaurants in the vicinity because the bar food was great accompanied together with great view, day and night. The free breakfast food option was okay. Could be better though.

We had no time trying the pool so I can't comment on that.

We are planning to have a vacation again around Pampanga and Prime Asia Hotel is definitely on top of our list.
