We were very pleased with our recent stay at white wing lodge. We stayed in their four bedroom two story cabin and it was clean quiet and relaxing. Close enough to town but a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle. Very dog friendly which was a huge plus for us. perfect location if visiting silver dollar city. Beautiful view of the lake. The owners were so nice and welcoming. Looking forward to our next stay there.

I thought this was the perfect place to get away at a cabin on the lake. The cabin I stayed in (#12, a 2 bedroom) was very nice. The view was perfect. And it is facing directly where the sun rises if you like to watch sunrises. The cabin is everything you would need, microwave, oven, coffee maker, etc. Make sure to bring everything that you would need to make the meal you are wanting to prepare just in case. They do have a small cookie sheet and pots and pans. Bring paper towels and I would suggest a dish sponge because there is no dishwasher. Also, this is the best place to bring your dog. They are very pet friendly and even have a big open area where your dog can run off leash, if they are able to. They had a very nice dock, decks on the cabins, and the employees were very friendly as well. I will be going here probably every year from now on because I found it to be perfect!

This place needs a bit of TLC....new pillows and towels could go a long way. Also, they allow dogs which is great...but our cabin was in need of a good dose of Febreze. The place looks a bit untidy also - there is "stuff" everywhere -not the best impression to give off. The price is right for a 2 bedroom cabin....but I'm not sure we will return.

The 3 bedroom cabin was just what our family needed. It was a little dirty which included dog hair on our pillows and the vacuum had dog feces in it so when we turned it on the entire cabin smelled. Also for some reason the water had a bad smell to it. We tried to over look the dog hair because we like the fact that the resort is dog friendly but when we asked about a broom and why the water smelled the way it did the owner became very rude. We did not have any dogs with us but our family in another cabin did. Which is why we chose this resort. Over all this resort has its positives and negatives. As for our family we do not plan on going back. One more thing is that the game room they have has a very moldy smell to it so we couldn't go in there and that's where the washer and dryer is located so we ended up going to the laundry mat.

Initially I was a little nervous because there were no pictures of the cabin that we rented, Cabin Three. Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised to see a very nice, clean cabin, with a wonderful view. Each bedroom had a bathroom, and the bedrooms were on opposite sides of the cabin, so it allowed privacy from the other couple we were with. Our dogs were welcomed here, which is very hard to find, and many other people had there dogs as well. We rented a slip for the weekend, and it was great to have a private boat dock right there. The owners were awesome, even calling to make sure we were okay when we were later than we had planned on arriving. We made another reservation before we left for August, and would have made one sooner but they go to weekly rentals only for high season. Otherwise, we would be back at least once a month!

Room Tip: Cabin three had a great lake view. Cabins on this side are quieter-cabins on the other side are...
