Room was dirty. Dirt flecks on the bed & the floor felt nasty. But it was 3 AM & I was tired. Not a horrible night's sleep, but I expected a little better for $60. This last sentence is to get me over the 200 character minimum.
The property was poorly maintained and there was no maid service. The room and bath vas not very clean. There was a broken inside safety lock which did not make the room very secure.
Price and pet policy very good and the location seemed safe. It was the upkeep of the motel that was lacking. This is dissapointing as reasonably priced motels are scarce. We don't spend a lot of time in room but appreciate cleanliness and security. Decently soft towels would be a real luxury but realize the price is limiting. If there is another chain with fees under a hundred dollars a night please let me know.
Had to stay for Clinic visit for the first time. When we got to our room we noticed chips on the not so clean floor, shower was dirty looking, mirrors we're dirty, and the microwave was not cleaned. After having dealing with people like this I didn't want to say anything about the place but I'm not going to stay here ever again. Place on outside is in need of repair. The people that wrote about the management are right these people probably don't care and would never give a refund if you argue with them. Do yourself a favor,a big favor, pay more and get a better stay IT WILL BE WORTH IT AND YOU WILL BE MORE COMFORTABLE
Normally wouldn't take the time to review a Motel 6 however this was so disgusting I want to make sure that nobody else coming to the Mayo Clinic for training or treatment has to go through this. Not only do these people Market a Mayo Clinic discount that they don't give you but because they realize people are in need of medical services at the clinic and cannot always afford high in motels they place you in filthy rooms such as the one that they put my party in which had mold animal hair used bedding holes in the walls in the bathroom was absolutely filthy, even the phone was filthy. Asked for clean bedding was refused, did not offer to change rooms, refused the refrigerator and microwave that was promised with the room even after being told they were persons in the party who had life-sustaining medication that had to be refrigerated, front desk clerk was absolutely ridiculously rude almost seem to argue with the party and try to discourage us from renting the room. Worked in hotels for years while in college I don't know who trained this woman but she is definitely a liability to the company and is a poor representation of customer service especially when you are dealing with medically fragile and disabled people - lacks conscience and professionalism. Who puts children with medical issues in a filthy room refuses to provide clean bedding with full knowledge that an animal was in the room and there is human waste on the walls and Floors, even the washcloth were not clean... contact the corporate immediately of course we haven't heard anything back but they sure do Market to nonprofits such as Family Promise and agencies such as mine the serve the needs of elderly disabled and terminally or chronically ill patients feed off of the people with low income in serious health problems but refused to provide them quality service
I appreciate the great service!😁The rooms are clean, laundry room is very convenient, vending machines with good choices and not over priced, i love the fact theres a shuttle bus that took me straight downtown for my appointment at mayo clinic on time, friendly people, i cant complain especially with the fare price in this town. Ill be sure to return.👍👍👍
Thank you Motel6!!
