We are traveling through to North Dakota. Probably one of the best hotels we have stayed at! The area was great, staff was amazing. The only downfall was how small the workout room was and that the windows between the pool and room were awkward but they had free weights and good treadmills. Definitely staying again!! The Manager was AMAZING!! Seriously the nicest person we have encountered the whole trip.
Room was decent and provided a good night's sleep. Bathtub was filthy grungy looking, which grossed us out. Pool was closed, leaving the kids disappointed. Breakfast was okay but nothing special. Overall stay was acceptable but below the quality we have had at other Springhill suites locations.
We found a good deal on this hotel for a night stay. Our kids were at a tournament, so we didn't spend much time at the hotel. Got in late, but just enough time to enjoy the pool before it closed at 11pm. The lobby is nice and modern. Lots of flexible seating options. Had continental breakfast. Hot options were waffles, oatmeal, scrambled eggs and sausage. Traditional cold breakfast items including cereals, fruits, yogurt, milk, juice. breads, bagels and muffins. A little something for everyone. King suite was nice. Room, bedding and bathroom were clean. Our first Stay at a SpringHill Suites and I would stay there again for a budget price. We typically only need to shower, sleep, and get some breakfast; so I find less expensive rooms (less than $100/night, that aren't dumps). My only complaint is that we could hear the people above us early in the morning walking over the top of us. Don't forget to grab some Chupa Chups for the road. Strawberry is the best! Enjoy!
We attended the Vikings training camp and this hotel was a great location! We were less than 10 minutes to camp, 15 to the mall of America, and a little bit more to downtown Minneapolis. Very easy to find with ample restaurants and shops in the area. Service was great - very friendly and helpful staff at the front desk. Rooms were spacious for our family of four and have recently been renovated. The bathroom seemed like it could be attended to a little and the tiles in the shower needed to be scrubbed. The lighting in the sink area was very dim making it hard for putting in contacts/putting on makeup. The pool was a good size but the hot tub was a bit scary - that area could use a little maintaining. Breakfast was average but free which is always great. My kids were happy to see the waffle makers come out on the weekend! Parking got tight on the weekend especially if you returned later at night. The hotel also offers 10% off at the chilis right across the street which was a nice bonus. Overall we were happy with our stay.
My sons baseball team and their families all stayed here for two nights. The rooms were well kept and updated. The tuck under sofa bed in our King Suite was great for my son. The pool was on the smaller size but adequate for my kids and the rest of teams that stayed there. One great part of the pool area was that there was an outdoor patio directly outside the pool area where the adults could unwind and also see inside the pool area to supervise. The patio area also had a large Weber propane grill. We took advantage of the grill our last night there and had a team grill out!!!
