An old hotel which continues to provide modern charm. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Given current pandemic cleaning and such, the hotel needs to adjust check out and check in times. It is not good service to promise rooms at 3pm and then explain the room is not ready because of cleaning and staffing issues. This, however, does not detract from the efforts of the staff and the ambiance of this historic hotel.
I seek out old hotels and this is a gem. The rook was comfortable and the decor has been recently updated. Our room had a balcony overlooking the lake. It was a spectacular sunset that evening. It is located to good shopping and restaurants. Just across the road is the park and beach. A voucher was given that covered the cost of a good cooked to order breakfast in a very nice dining room.
We always enjoy staying at the Perry. It has a perfect location for enjoying the little town of Petoskey and the surrounding area. The breakfast in the Rose Room has a spectacular view and great service.
Love this hotel, the ambiance is perfect, as is the location is perfect. Lots of restaurants, bars and the lake is right down the walkway. Park and walk everywhere. Don't miss the Noggin Room, great for a nightcap or a whole evening!
Was staying here for a friends wedding . Very good location close to downtown could walk to places if wanted . Hotel lobby looked very old and a bit run down I expected more for the price you pay. Rooms were just average a bit disappointed again for the price you pay for a room. Had to pay extra for a fridge . Rooms not very sound proof heard the man next door snore all night and didn’t sleep. Beds were ok comfort staff was helpful.
