This was not the 5 Star Hotel we were promised by Archaeological Paths, but the staff was really trying to fix things in our room, so I gave them an Average rating. We were there 3 nights The sink had no stopper so they put one in--my husband attached it so it would hold water. The hair dryer was broken (not repaired or replaced), They got the TV working for 1 night, and they brought us a 2nd set of towels and pillows we could put our heads on. There were 3 outlets in our room where we could recharge our batteries. Many hotel in Egypt have only 2 charging outlets. We had a nice patio but no chairs or table, so it was essentially useless. The breakfast was minimal. Much of the food was uncooked, so you took your chances. Bottled water was provided. Coffee is never brewed but Nescafe was the instant provided. One plus is that we saw several wedding parties being held there. Everyone was well dressed and the brides were lovely in gorgeous white wedding gowns. That was interesting to see, because the area is very poor.
