Really nice place..very nice owners. Pool, kitchen, private parking space and super close to a private beach. We rented the three bedroom cottage for our family. If your on the Cape, I would recommend staying here..wish I could stay longer.
Stayed at the cottages recently. Price was great and so was the location near the beach, grounds and pool are beautiful. But the cottage itself leaves much to desire. Very outdated, no AC, dingy old smelly carpet. No curtains and the blinds and most of the windows are all broken and hard to use. Again, can’t complain about the price but it wouldn’t take much to fix some of these small things to make the cottages more enjoyable.
We have been returning to the Ebb Tide’s (ET) beautiful quiet setting annually the past 10 years. Great family location to some of the best safe family beaches across the street (Mayflower Beach is perfect for young children with shallow tidal pools). We love to explore the Cape and ET is a perfect central location for day trips (Woods Hole to Provincetown). Exploring the National Seashore and Seaside townships, Whale watching excursions, the amazing miles on Cape Cod Rail Trail if you like to bike (rentals available), family kayaking on Swan River, broadway caliber live theatre at The Cape Playhouse or Harwich Junior Theatre for young families, are all close by. Enjoy some of the best food on the Cape at the Ebb Tide Restaurant (Lobster fritters / Lobster bisque are #1 on the Cape) or walk down the street to the Ocean House. An Ebb Tide vacation will provide an everlasting family memory, thanks to the McCormick’s hospitality. Highly recommended for families.
We have been going to the cape for 15 years so I understand what to expect. Overall this place could be concidered a hidden gem. It's not perfect but it is a very nice place to be. Cotteges are clean and roomy, location is great where you can walk back and forth to beach and yet it is quite while relaxing at the cottege. Pool is very nice. Owners are helpful and friendly. The only negative is that the showers are very small and the beds are not the most comfortable but it is all fine for the stay. I will continue to go back...
Ignore any negative reviews as I seen nothing negative on my last 2 stays there (other than what I mentioned above).
Just got back from a week at the Ebb Tide. What a nice little gem on the border of Harwich and Dennis. We were in unit 2 (3 stand alone cottages next to the pool and one two story building with 4 units) which is a 2 bed 2 bath. BBQ and clothesline were next to unit 3, very close aand convenient. The unit was clean and the kitchen very well stocked. Kids loved the flat screen tv, cable and free wifi. All rooms had fans and except for a couple days of 90 degree weather, we were comfortable. Never used the pool since the beach was just across the street. Pool was never noisy and we spent plenty of time on our little porch. Great location! I would go back in a heartbeat!
