My husband and I had to come into town for a funeral. We didn't arrive at the hotel until almost 3 am and needed to leave at 8 am so I didn't want to pay a lot to stay somewhere for only 5 hours. It had been recently renovated which made it look much nicer. It was clean and the shower in the morning was warm. The bed was uncomfortable and the towels were kind rough but I honestly expected that. The part that sucked though was that they had not preheated the room or even kept the room at an average temperature even though we had booked it in advance. When we walked in it felt exactly the same as it did outside. We could literally see our breath inside the room and I had to go to sleep shivering. Overall it's not that bad when considering the price if you're only staying for a short time.
It was the cheapest room I could find, booking ahead, & they were very accomodative to my needs! I was traveling in a Diesel during the frigid winter storm, and they found me a room next to an outdoor outlet to plug in my "block heater"....necessary to start a diesel in cold weather!
The Rooms were in very good shape, seemed close to new condition! Everything was clean and WORKED!
I am disabled and needed a room on the first floor. Was assured that if they couldn't get me one, there would be someone available to help me unload. No such help at check-in. I had to unpack my suitcase in the car and carry items upstairs individually. No maid service first day. Prostitutes in back parking lot at night.
Stayed here overnight for one night then on to Bowling Green Kentucky. Clean room, no frills. Nice accommodations! It is near many places to eat and shop. Easy access from freeway and up to date. Drove from Milwaukee to here and rested up for the continued trip to the Convention.
Stayed here to be near the "totality path" for the eclipse. Loved their tolerant pet policy. Simple room design and sensible linoleum floors made for a very clean experience. Super friendly check-in. Not too no-frills however - there was a decent LED TV with adequate channels.
