We had a group stay here. The staff were friendly, the location nice, and rooms were good. Has small indoor pool. They allowed us to use breakfast area for pizza for all of us. I would recommend and will stay here again if back in the area.
This is a convenient location, close to freeways, shopping and restaurants. Inside pool and fitness area is clean with lots of towels. Hallways/stairways need to be maintained as walls show damage with poor repair work. Our room was clean. Shower had good pressure and drained properly. Toilet seat was very loose---this is something that housekeeping should report not the guest. In this new style of bathroom, there are no towel bars close to the shower--you have to hang your towel on the grab bar. Front desk people are friendly and efficient, even with our 3 AM check-in. We will continue to stay here.
Pool was closed for the evening but open the next day. Pool was clean and water temperature was pleasant. Check-in time is 4 and checkout is 12 noon. Comfort Suites is much nice then the Confort Inns.
The rooms were outdated and poorly (if at all) cleaned (please see photos..need to zoom in to see extent of filth). Moments after we checked in,a pipe burst and the fire alarms went off and the FD had to come. The elevator stopped working the first night and one of our teammates (an 11 year old) was stuck in the elevator for 10 minutes. After this, it was out of order the entire night. The pool was DISGUSTING. We wouldn’t even let the kids get into the water. It had this strange film over the top of it (management claimed it was a guest’s lotion?!?) (see photos). There were panhandlers in the parking lot and inside of the hotel (although not panhandling inside the hotel), but they were panhandling in the parking lot just in front of hotel doors. Probably the worse part was that upon booking this hotel 5 months ago, I called to verify that one of rooms would be handicap accessible (with a roll-in shower) and I was told this wouldn’t be a problem. Then, I had the family call to confirm as well. The week prior to arrival, we called the hotel directly to verify that they could accommodate their needs and were told “yes”. However, when they arrived they were told they didn’t have any handicap accessible rooms available! The hotel offered to move the family the following night to an accessible room on the third floor (see previous elevator problem and fire department coming). The family had little confidence that a 250lb. Wheel chair bound man should be on the third floor with elevator problems! So, our friend had to sleep in his class wheelchair for two nights! Then because the pipe burst next to their room, all of their belonging were soaked with nasty water. As icing on the cake, this hellhole reeked of marijuana the entire weekend, interesting conversations with the children about this in a non-smoking hotel. This entire place was an absolute train wreck, I could go on and on and the management did nothing to remedy the situation, just became defensive. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.
We had to book this hotel with our soccer team because we registered late and needed to stay at a tournament approved hotel.
When we arrived, a fire truck was parked I n the parking lot due to a water pipe breaking. Management assured us that everything would be fine.
We booked a King room with fold out couch for 2 adults and 2 kids. There were no blankets, sheets or extra pillows in any of our 12 reserved rooms for the pullouts.
The bathrooms appeared to have been updated but not the tubs. We needed to lay a towel in the bottom due to the mold surrounding the non-slip pad.
The pool was horrible. It had a film floating on the surface which the staff said was lotion and it was freezing cold. We were told that the heater doesn’t always work!
The elevator was out of order the first night .
The breakfast staff was wonderful and accommodating. It was the best part of the stay.
Please think twice about staying here.
We also had a parent with a disability that needed a handicap accessible room and shower which was reserved in November. When they arrived, the room was not available and they were only told that they could have a room on the 3rd floor with a roll in shower on Saturday. Who puts a handicapped room on the 3rd floor? The elevator was already broken so it wasn’t even accessible to a handicapped person. The management didn’t offer to help the family find another hotel or even comp their room. The room they ended up giving them was met to the room with the broken pipe and the carpet was wet the entire weekend.
I could go on, but will not!
